I got a new coaster in the making. 100% FVD++. I plan on finishing this ride, but I got a long way to go. Wish me luck.

Actually looks kind of fun. I hope it's not too poly-heavy.
When you've got a city running coaster, a silver or a black track usually fits most appropriately in my opinion.

Got the work on the buildings and station done. Just gotta add cars, supports, and fix up some small things. Believe it or not it doesnt bog down my computer yet.

That's some very green grass you have there. It'll look like a strobe light on some of those sections.

Finally over came some support problems. But I am thinkin the blue has to go. Reminds me of the smurfs.

4 rails on the top hat now. Think i am gonna pass on the flanges because of frame rates. Everything is still running fast and I dont want it to bog. Think I am gonna pass on the top hat cross member, but that may change.

you have to change the color of the entrance sign to some softer colors:o In my opinion that is:P

but the rest looks nice so far

Still going on the supports. Just gotta put in the footers. I had lots of problems as usual and these supports came out like crap. But I think I found a great way to do supports quick and easy with flanges, tees, footers, or any other tube fitting. Just gotta do some experimenting and should be able to do that for my next coaster.

Still workin away at this. Finally done the supports, now I am working on the "easier" stuff. Got hung up a whole day tryin to figure out the side walks. But I now know how to create a spline from an object and use it to unwrap a uvw. Notice the sidewalk texture wraps around the corner, and the tunnel through the buildings also is spline unwrapped.

So I got some cars in, but they are high poly and bog down the coaster. So I made the cars a seperate 3ds that can be deleted out if you want a smooth ride. I think I am gonna be done with this coaster, onto filming!

This is looking so kickass. I have thought about building rides like this but never had the discipline to make a city like that. And having what seems like solid trackwork to compliment the scenery helps a lot!
