You can still have fun with FVD's though. I made Tour De France in a month's time and it was really fun to just take a step back and create a simple, fun hyper. (For some reason I forgot to release it here, but
HERE is the video if anyone cares to take a look.)
People on NL-E downrated it for too pointy hills (which didn't make sense b/c Goliath @ La Ronde) and a too loose lift crest (which also didn't make sense), but I didn't care. It was fun to make a ride that rode decently well, looked good, had a cool video, and wasn't groundbreaking. Still used Newton.
TL;DR - You just gotta not care about the rates. Which, I admit, is really hard to do nowadays. But it just brings the fun back to NoLimits and it was definitely important for me to make a track like that (and G5, and Express 90).
