Throwing out some wild guesses here.

Kings island removes Son of Beast roller coaster in the off season of 2012-2013. Huge plot of land for just about anything.

Image

What that plot of land looks like right now. These footings look rather similar to these, don't you think?

Oh... and Cedar Fair trademarked the name Banshee.

No, I'd rather have something different but just as thrilling.

Ohioans will allow the great injustice that is naming a ride "Banshee" slip through their moral fabric this time?

Interesting find! The clues do seem to point toward it. It would be really nice to see B&M do another Giga and see what they do with it. Hopefully it'll have a longer duration than Leviathan, even though it's really expensive. Interesting how Diamondback and Behemoth are kind of sisters and now the Gigas at the same two parks might be sisters too.

I would love to see another B&M giga, I feel that a cedar fair park is not the best place for it though.
What are these for?

I still call Mantis "Banshee" for fun. And since in folklore the banshee was a symbol of death in the family, and a lot of my male friends call Mantis "the nutcracker," I think it's appropriate. :p

(And we jokingly call Mean Streak "The abortion coaster," so hey, Cedar Point has coasters that destroy the fertility of both genders!)

It'll probably be uncreative and will suck, but, only time will tell.

Someone took a video of the blueprints.

Slightly image-edited screencap from that video:

I cannot look at that. I wanna be at least somewhat surprised when it's announced.

Doubt it'll be a wingrider, unlikely to carry enough speed for a properly shaped loop at the end of the ride

First drop, helix overbank, low zero g roll, overbank, loop, pretzel/batwing loop (dive loop then immelman), taller zero g roll, loop, Immelman, final turn into brakes that thread the final loop. The heartline is negative; pray it's not a pos like oz'iris.

^Really? I'm pretty sure you've got the train running in the wrong direction. The train starts in the big square, makes a left turn, lift, into a tight rightward curving drop. Then a dive loop, I'm guessing.
