As I've already said in another post,I'm waiting for NL2 release to restart designing.
I'd like to know if you have already great ideas in mind.
I got one and it's called "Twister":it will be a 4th dimension adventure inspired by the movie.[8D]
I have the layout (just curious if I will be able to build it with the new program)and most of the objects...

What about you?[:D]

-Mind Warp-S&S 4D coaster based on a layout I made in NL 1.X
-Pegasus-B&M flyer with some creative elements.
-Unnamed-compact B&M launched flyer
-Recreation of the Voyage at Holiday World
-A death coaster that goes all the way to the top of the template and tries to max out the NL2 speed
-Sky Coaster-inspired by the proposed 650 foot tall Pole-r Coaster for Las Vegas.
-Recreation of whatever Kings Island unveils for the 2014 season.
-Probably at least one dueling/racing coaster
-If I have the patience to learn scripting, possibly a whole park with my coasters and some flat rides.

Honestly I really want to make a Smiler kind of thing, but I'm afraid i'll end up just making the exact same thing but with an extra vertical loop or something. Also:
-Proper portable Schwarzkopf (figure out the real footprint of one of those instead of making a rectangle
-Full Throttle but with like 3 trains and a real layout
-Something like Boss
-Proper big Arrow looper (Shockwave had a secret lovechild with the Canada Dragon something)
-Proper B&M invert that doesn't get so large than it ends up being weak and feeling slow despite it not being either
-Proper standup
-Proper Premier bowl.

Ahhhh to have a job and money to afford a new computer.....

EDIT: Nice to see you around Barone, I don't see much of the older people around here often

Considering I already know Java and some C# I'm probably going to pick up the custom scripting language pretty quickly. This is likely going to result in big park recreations and fun custom parks. Also, wing riders. Lots of them.

It's nice for me too!
About the Dive Machine,I was imagining using this type for a classic hyper coaster with 8cars trains for 80 people...maybe too much for real life!

who are you quoting? NL2 will have built in fvd program along with improved handbuiling. anyone who uses newton will be a pleb lel

You do know wing-coasters aren't coming in NL2 first release, don't you?

I might try to make my The Chasm arm-lift coaster works, or anything that involve tilt-section if we're able to.

I'm going to make a flyer with several pretzel loops. Because who doens't want a flyer with a pretzel loop (apart from Alton residents)

I've been a programmer for 20 years, so I'm really looking forward to stretching the limits of this scripting engine. Though Calamity Jane will probably be shipped on NL2 (given it's development rate) I'm not going to re-factor it for the new engine. I came up with my idea for a full NL2 coaster while listening to some classic Daft Punk.

The Steam Machine: An inverted B&M, heavily steampunk themed with lots of moving parts, lights, steam. Practically a dark ride. Synced to a custom soundtrack mix. Not realistic due to many potential scenery hits (moving scenery track crossovers). I'm SO looking forward to this.

I want to make a whole park of Japaneses jet coasters! I want to have Jamp Up Land with moving rides in all the middle of the jet coasters.

I wonder how complicated it would be to script that big ghost chasing the coaster train, like in this video:

If I can ever learn to do that, the Haunted Hall coaster would be a future NL2 project of mine.

While it isn't a project I think I could handle alone: I have a concept for a mining themed coaster with a pretty intense layout that ends with a fake "unload station" that is actually a freefall section like on Th13teen or Verbolten. At the bottom would be the real unload station, separated from the load station by a 180* turn to maintain the surprise.

It would be pretty intensive to create an entire coaster with that effect. Something like that might be more feasible to have the effect last for a few seconds.

Well it'll have to be the unload station... else people would wonder where all the people who were queuing for the ride had disappeared to! Awesome idea otherwise though.

It's not there best for sure but it stands its ground. It could have used a little less muffled screaming but with the lyrics it gets the tone and feel across pretty well.
