You know what I meant Freddie.

Avenged Sevenfold sounds like a 90's boy band, and I will stand by my statement that they're the Nickelback of "punk".

How'd you win tickets (to anything)? Usually that's pretty rare!

I'm seeing one of my all time favorite bands on Saturday. I have been waiting for this since I was about 15.

Avenged IS the nickelback of punk. I have some friends that were crapping themselves over the song. I couldn't get past the 30 second mark.

Some new groups to add to my list

Paul McCartney
Red Hot Chili Peppers
Nine Inch Nails
Grizzly Bear
The Higher
Hall & Oates
Jurassic 5
The National
Surfer Blood
Vampire Weekend
Foals
Youth Lagoon
Atlas Genius

just to name a few

Someone just came from FYF....And you didn't see Deerhunter or The Locust? Tsk tsk....

Hoping MBV has some future tour dates on the west coast so I can see them without the awful FYF sound team.

List of bands I've seen live at Kings Island alone with videos of some of their performances (I didn't make the videos, but I was at the concert of every one):

Family Force 5: ,

Thousand Foot Krutch:

Red: ,

Skillet: ,

Switchfoot:

That's not all the bands that were there the two years I was there; those are just the ones that I listen to on a regular basis. I'm a music buff, and seeing my favorite bands at KI was awesome!

Devendra, locust, and deerhunter all conflicted. I was most familiar with devendra's music, so thats who I decided to see. I could have caught 15 minutes of deerhunters set but I would probably prefer to catch their whole set. Im sure they'll be around again sometime in the next 2 years

Also mbv does have some other tour dated, I would look into it.

I'm just wondering if anyone here has seen NIN yet this year! I'm debating on getting tickets for when they come down to the Amway Center in Orlando... but tickets are hella expensive and... well, I'm not incredibly impressed with their new material. I know they have a bunch of kick-ass older material and amazing shows to boot because I've heard every song and I have always wanted to see them... just maybe for a bit less than $110 for decent seating.

So if anyone has paid that amount for a ticket to one of their concerts this year, I just want to know... is it worth it?
"Don't be a disability"... yep, still keeping that. :P

I just saw them at Outside Lands. Its a greatest hits tour for sure. Overall I was pretty stoked on it. The stage set up is awesome.

I don't know if I'd pay $110 for a ticket though. I payed $250 for 3 days of music, and I was relatively close to the stage. Decisions, Decisions.

Yeah Deerhunter will be around for a bit. The Locust was probably one of the best things at FYF.

I have seen MBV tour dates but they're all very very out of my country. If I had the money, I'd fly to Japan to see them in September, and then chill in Japan for a week. But I'm broke.[:(]

Saw A Fire Inside (formerly known as AFI) at the Fox Theater in Pomona this past Friday, holy poop!!!!! what an amazing show. The venue wasn't the greatest and the first band, coming, should have been going, but the 2nd band, Touche Amore was pretty good, kinda remind me of Story of the Year, anyway, it was cool to see Davey Havok "god walk" on the crowd.

I got this pick from Skillet's guitarist Seth Morrison himself, after their show in Evansville during the WinterJam tour. I asked for just a high five, and he handed me this. I had a fan moment so bad.
