I'm sure hoping that sharing parks and designs will be just as easy as RCT and NL. Maybe this will bring about a whole new group of people around to this site and other coaster-sharing communities!

Yeah, I'm hoping to they make it easy to share parks with others. Saving them into individual files like NL/RCT/SM do now would be nice.

I'm hoping this will be released on Wii U. Still can't wait, still have my Hyper Rails disk laying around.

I just got a fresh update from them along with a set of pictures. Here's an excerpt of the email I received:

We have expanded our art team and are creating many new assets including fulfilling some of the ride requests as part of Kickstarter backer rewards.

We have also finished most of our new lighting module. Theme Park Studio offers different lighting types, each offering their own advantages, depending on your needs. You can of course control their individual parameters and placement.

We have been expanding on our custom scenery importing. Currently Theme Park Studio supports Collada files. You can import individual objects, or entire scenes, each with their own Diffuse, Normal, and Spec maps if desired.

A great deal of time has been spent on our file exchange system. It is our goal to allow the community to share parks, rides, and trains in the easiest and most efficient manner possible.

We have also been polishing our particle system. Particle effects can be built from scratch, using our custom module, or by simply selecting from one of the various presets. Custom effects can also be exported and shared within the community.

Finally we have been polishing up the current build. Even though there are additional features we still need to implement, our goal is to have an early alpha build ready that we can start testing. When this stage begins, more gameplay videos will become available. In the meantime, we wanted to post the results of some of our top tier reward fulfillments of custom ride requests, seen in the images below.

The Skyrush trains look nice! The train designs alone are making me excited for this game!

Very sweet indeed even the rails themselves look mighty sweet and clean just the way they are. Keep up the good work. One other thing hope we can sometimes import our own 5 or 6 sided custom made skybox projects. Let me know if it's true but again keep it up...

I hope they finish the beta soon (I did the Kickstarter for this). Looking forward to get this game in my hands to give it a run through.

Trains look like concept art, nothing is at all to scale of the real trains. Nl2 nailed theirs though.. even Nl1

The early stages of the Alpha build are out on Steam now. It costs $30.00 USD and should be updated every so often.

I know I'm kinda pushy with these things but can you please, for the love of God please enhance the catwalks on the wooden coasters. Last images I saw they bank with the track. WTH?
