Hey! Don't give me any new ideas. It's bad enough that I have this obsession with the New River Brigde in West Virginia. LOL Let's see, could it be possible to put the track next to the CATWALK under the bridge so the Catwalkers could see the train whizz by? LOL

This project got me thinking on if there was a roller coaster to interact with while crossing the Chesapeake Bay bridge. Unfortunately since the bridge is about 4 miles long, I don't think I would be able to do that in No Limits 2 [:(]
I am quite fascinated with the Chesapeake Bay bridge even tho it was voted one of the scariest bridges.

If only NoLimits had the ability to Copy/Paste support structures.
I used to be in a barbershop quartet in Skokie, Illinois...

With the NL2 template, a diagonal line from one corner to the other will be 2.7 miles long. But if it is like NL1 then 3D's could stretch beyond the border, so you could make a Chesapeake Bay bridge, and have a ride covering the main part of the middle.

I might do that then. Also, to make it a little easier (or maybe harder?), the bridge isn't perfectly straight the entire way.

Here is a different way to travel from one side to the other. You have the option of taking the catwalk, zipline or the Jet Coaster to the other side of the bridge.

I still need to add the narrow station platforms. You will start by whizzing along the outside of the bridge, then zip along the inside the truss and reach the other side where you would unload at a station at the other end of the catwalk.

I about fell out of my chair laughing when I saw that hole in the bridge. LOL Maybe with that track swivel in NL-2 you could push a button a take your choice of which track you like best. And I hope Architect is correct about the 2.7 miles diagonal distance in NL-2. Wow! That is awesome!
I've been on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge and it's an awesome bridge for sure.

Yeah Cool5, I think you should avoid building on the road, but instead have an epic ride going through all of the framework underneath. You could always drop out of the station and do the ride, then have the lift at the end to bring you back to the top.

This ride does go through the structure some.

Track supports using the bridge as a main structure have been started.

How about a arrow suspended in NL2 swinging through the main truss structure and then over the river far far below.

^Arrow suspened would be amazing on this and I'm glad you have done your supports in a different colour. The support in the last picture should have its brace underneath coming off the spine. This will make for a much stonger, more realistic brace.

New layout on bridge. The coaster layout travels along the top of the road, gets close to the edge like it wants to end its life, then taken a suicide dive to the river!
