lol, but i do have a question, on that site is a ride called "Swat" and i saw the video of that. How is that possible??? (for the side that goes up will being upside down) If your just hanging upside down, tahts like -1g, but with the fact taht your going up it would be greater than -1g..... wouldnt that be "uncomfortable" for some riders?

ah yes the ol S&S Power swat. I think the main reason that is possible is that it isnt actualy moving at a great speed as it goes round and also due to the fact that your sitting down. The fact your sitting down means the blood isnt rushing to your head as much as you would be lying down.. Also sitting down the g's would be alot less intense. If you actualy think about that it makes more sense. (think about the position the riders are in te the bottom) the most intense part must be going back up due to the g's forces, but other than that quite a safe ride

I've actually been on it (SFAW is my home park), and I can say that it is quite intense.

But, you can handle -1 G. And, it's actually moving pretty quickly going up while upside down, but the thing is, the radius is so large that the negative G's aren't much stronger than -1.

Chiming in on the SWAT thing. First, that was mine and my kids' favorite ride of our vaction (the vac involved all three TX 6F parks). Yes, it is intense, but not bad; for us the most uncomfortable part was being upside down on the shoulder restraints, but the overall feeling the ride gave outweighed any uncomfortableness we felt...very strange/fun sensation "flipping" over that high in the air. We even got some great pics looking straight up at us on the ride as it came directly overhead the photographer.

anyway...looking forward to hearing waht the lady had to say on Viper.

i would ride it given the chance, but its just the idea of going up and being upside down too, it just semed you would experience more than -1 for more than about 2 seconds. Still looks like a fun ride

Swat is really not all that, I rode it three weeks ago and its just you basic ride. I you rode the looping starship at sfaw then you rode the swat. And cmon, diable falls what is that all about (if you ask me they need new coasters not that crap). Sfaw and Sfno are my home base so you know I havent had anything new around here lol.

have you been drinking lostst8ofmind??? LOL, just messing with ya. The looping starship here at sfog is a swinging boat ride (buts its a rocket) that goes upside down, VERY slowly. You come out of your seat and your blood rushes to your head. It just seems swat would make the blood rush to your head quicker cause of the going up part, but it still looks like a fun ride. Heres a question for you guys, do yall think top spin rides are nausiating?
