Phyter has been unusually quiet lately. His last post was on 20DEC.

This will be the moment we've all been waiting for. keep your fingers crossed cause NL2 will be out at any given time.

He and Ride_Op has been posting on NLE a lot though.
Hopefully they will both go silent now and finish this.

Knowing the NL team, I halfway expect a release right at midnight on New Year's so there will always be confusion as to whether it released in 2013 or 2014.

Sorry for the silence guys. We are indeed working around the clock to finish things up. It's obvious by now that the release will not happen before the 1st so please save your F5 keys for another day. However we do have some more treats for you before the final release. So stay tuned!

'Tis saddening indeed. I would recommend posting an update on the NL site tonight as opposed to tomorrow or New Years as those days would only exacerbate the public's disappointment. The 12OCT update said NL2 would be released this year, and since then nothing was indicated that there were delays. I think my suggestion would be the appropriate recourse. After all, NL fans have waited eight years for this.

But joking aside, seriously thanks for all the hard work you and the NL team have put into this amazing simulator. The pics and videos are absolutely stunning and are going above my expectations.

nah, Phyter said they have a few more treats for us before final release. I'm expecting Q3-4 2014

Forget the treats, focus on release , but in all reality, treats are better than nothing.

Let's just all be patient now. Enjoy the new year and relax. I can't wait till this comes out. It's been a while since I touch NL1.

I wonder though, how hard the 4D coaster is going to be in terms of setting the rotation of the chair. I can just image me ASDFJHJKAF all over the keyboard trying to figure it out.

I'm pretty sure the dev team said that there will be another type of vertex, just like the roll.
