So, I have decided to take the opportunity to make a video of our experiences and pov's of the rides in the park. The idea is to make it like the videos as seen on this site. Today I got these POV's recorded:
Tatsu (Full)
Apocalypse (Full)
Riddler's Revenge (Full)
Green Lantern (full)
Gold Rusher (Full)
Revolution (Full)
Viper (Full but mostly crap)
Scream! (Full)
Lex Luthor's Drop Of Doom (Nearing top with full drop)

Tomorrow I have to record the following:
Batman The Ride (Full)
Full Throttle (Partial)
Ninja (Full)
Colossus (Full)
Goliath (Full)

It's going to be pretty busy tomorrow.

DAY 3

Day 3 was a LOT of fun, and not nearly as many pictures as yesterday.

First thing's first, we had to sit. what a surprise

Image

Right out of the gate we started heading for Tatsu. On the way, we met this couple from New Zealand also heading for Tatsu that ended up chilling with us for most of the day. Their names were Sean and Lauren.

~Tatsu~

Image

Tatsu really is an awesome flyer, and I would recommend it to anyone. Good forces, smooth, great layout, awesome pretzel loop, goes great with the landscape. I got a great video of it too :D

So we headed down the hill and ended up at our next target

~Apocalypse~

As always, an amazing GCI. I love every little bump, hill, and turn on it, it has a nice layout with a lot of cool features. The theming is still great which I love and it wasn't too hard to get a good pov. Yay for the apocalypse!

I got a pic of the station, it's not much but it shows a little bit of the theming.

Image

And I got a similar image of Riddler's station as well

Image

After riding Riddler's Revenge we headed for another DC villain themed ride: Lex Luthor's Drop Of Doom.

In the queue we had a picture taken of the couple and I. I'm in the middle

Image

After pretty much jumping off of Superman's tower, we decided to head over to Green Lantern

~Green Lantern: First Flight~

This ride had quite a long wait, however we did get on. The goal was simple, to get a good pov of it. It was quite difficult but I managed to do it! Lots of forces and an unusual look from onride made it a pretty good challenge but it came out pretty well.

After Green Lantern we said our goodbyes to our new friends and headed on our own way. we stopped by the BBQ shack to get some pulled pork sandwiches (which were very good). We had no idea what to do next so we looked around and went on the first thing we saw: Gold Rusher.

Image

Gold Rusher, as said before, is a fun mine train haha, not too much more to say.

Next stop was Revolution. We were excited to ride it since we haven't been on it in 2 years. It was weirdly smoother than Viper and easier to get a pov on.

After walking around for a bit longer and riding Scream, we left and got a few more pics to end the day. here they are

Thanks for reading all of this so far, I am going to do one more update tomorrow night after I fly home and I will have a few videos to add to this thread on top of it in a week or so.

For the onride/offride/walking collage video thing I need a good song to mix it to. Any ideas? It would preferably be a longer song and something that most would find bearable haha. Please coment with your ideas :)

It's weird that Superman and Green Lantern have those side panels attached to the outside of the restraints...

DAY 4

Well, it was the final day at the park and we had a lot of stuff to get done. Luckily we ended up getting most of it done, so I would call that a success :)

Anyway, the fun all started when we woke up... just kidding, the fun REALLY started around 2 hours later. During breakfast and while waiting in lines since day 2 my grandpa and I have taken up a little chess championship between ourselves. You made it a tough fight old man, but I won 2 of the 3 day competition.

After the gates opened, we headed straight for Goliath to complete goal 1. As usual, Goliath was awesome. Great forces, steep drops, tight turns, headchoppers, and it doesn't have a slogan based on something stupid that's popular at the time. Everything you need for a great ride all packed into one :D

Next was Batman The Ride. I had originally written a full review of BTR when I was on my flight back but my laptop is being a jerk and not booting. I'm this " close to giving IT the boot.

After getting a pretty good POV of this ride, we headed immediately for Superman. I love the fortress of solitude theme they have, as soon as you step in, it gets much cooler than the outside temp. As you walk more and more into the dark tunnels inside you get a little colder and finally end up at the line-splitting area for the different rows. Great theme for such a little amount of space :)

Image

That was a cool little pic I took from the queue.

After we escaped Krypton we headed for Ninja to see if it was open. Ninja was closed but they were breaking in a train with all new gear parts so it would be open later. We quickly decided that waiting wasn't in our best interest and we headed for Full Throttle.

Image

Still being run by Nazi's and loading their trains as slowly as possible, the wait was 5 whole minutes longer than the average that we had seen. Needless to say, we were furious.

We got to the ride and I prepared my camera for the pov. The ride op saw me get it ready right before i hid it from ALL sight and he looked at me for a second then gave me a slight and barely noticeable nod. Thanks ride op, you're a bro.

After getting a pretty good mostly full pov of Full Throttle we headed for our last ride of the day: Ninja. Ninja (now running two trains) was loading much faster than the day before and we were very thankful, especially since the queue was completely full. We got to the station about 40 minutes later and boarded the front of the train with the new gears. The train seemed to ride a tiny bit better than the other one :) yay.

After ninja, I decided to get 2 more pics before leaving the park. These 2 pics were of Tatsu's wraparound of the Samurai Summit Tower.

Traffic wasn't bad, airport security was fast, got an upgrade to a first class seat, smooth ride all the way back to Seattle. Great finishing day for us :)

---------------------------------

Overall it was a very fun trip, we had a lot of new experiences, met some cool people, rode some fun rides, had a blast, and would easily do it again in a heartbeat. It was sad to have X2 closed the entire time we were there, but it wasn't something we could control. Oh well, the rest of the trip was spectacular!

It was a pleasure riding, writing, and sharing my experiences. I hope you all enjoyed.
