Phyter, do emmissive faces or light from blender carry over to the model when it imports? How easy will it be to set up interior lighting for buildings?

I could have sworn I read somewhere that they posted some stats on their computer with the game working fine on NLE. I can't find it, but I did find this. "As a benchmark we have a park with 37 coasters, one for each coaster style, and it loads successfully on a 2GB card."

Im hoping the system requirements would equally be the same as for older games like farcry, doom3,and HL2, Battlefield-2 or otherwise im just guessing that we could be looking at the system requirements as high as for what it was for games like crysis-1 but I could be wrong. I'm hoping not to high cause I like to see a good performance and how well this can run on my A8 laptop.

Steam would offer a much bigger cash cow for the dev team.

Steam was talked about a lot on NLE.
The team said they are considering it, but for now, only Mad-Data.

I think if they were to add steam, they would continue to use Mad-Data as well for non-steam users.

agreed on that, But as I've said before, they would do VERY well on steam. I've bought so many games that I've known nothing about on steam just cuz

Steam would certainly be useful for those like me who have far too many games from those sales...(129)

Can someone explain Steam to me, do games get discounted periodically?
Is there a top 25 list?

Considering that Ole has said that nl2 isn't a game and is targeting realism I don't think it will be on Steam.

^ That's a good point.
Probably doesn't look good on their portfolio for rollercoaster companies interested in working with them.

There are plenty of simulators on steam as well, but we shall see what the NL team does :)

Steam isn't only for games. Euro Truck Simulator, Farming Simulator etc. are also on Steam, and design programs like RPG Maker VX and SONAR X3 are also on Steam.

Steam is a great platform to release on. You'll reach many, many potential users who like to build rollercoasters but who doesn't know NoLimits yet.

Yes, Steam has periodic sales. They just had a two-week-long sale for the holidays where select games were discounted every day. They always have daily and weekly deals, but the really big sales come in the spring, summer, Thanksgiving, and holiday season.

You can choose where to install your games via steam now so that part isn't an issue anymore.
