Just outside of Clifton Forge, and Iron Gate, Virginia. off of Highway 64, on State Route 42. A man named Adam Ownsby consulted with farmers, and purchased a square mile of land surrounded by mountains, and has a nearby River near it, for 56,000 Dollars split it between all 4 Farmers. This was back in 1982. He didn't know what he was going to do with it in the time.

Then in 1988, Adam Ownsby came up with an idea officially, to build an Amusement Park right there in the mountains! But, the problem was he didn't know anything about the Amusement Park Business. He called Cedar Fair Company, which was new at the time. They accepted the offer to help Adam Ownsby create this Amusement park that was pretty much in the middle of no where.

News turned up all through the area, Covington, Cliffton Forge, Iron Gate, all through Western Virginia that an Amusement Park was being built by Cedar Fair. The name, it's rides, and Attractions were unknown. They would be announced on January 26th 1990, and they said they planned to open the park May 8th 1993.

I really like this idea. I'm assuming you've been cooking this up for NL2? If you need any sketchup contributions please let me know.

Just recently, the entrance was completed in full! Paths were worked up, and then the construction of a 2/7th Scale model at 328 feet tall of the Stratosphere tower was build!

Might as well just start a new one.

--------------------------------------------------------

In 2009, Cedar fair purchased a roughly one square mile of land from farmers, and a old RC shop, between Springfield, and Tipp City, Ohio, not far from I-70. Project manager Gus Rodgers, has been working on the last for the year, and in 2010, the roads where the park was up-against were turned into two lane roads, and right now. they are currently working towards getting the Parking lot set up for everyone to bring in the rides, and coaster parts for the amusement Park

Cedar Fair has invested 197.8 Million Dollars to work on the park, and it's surrounding land to hold the traffic that will occur at that spot. 2 Million was spent re-paving roads, 6 MIllion for the enterance, and parking lot. And the rest of it invested in a Stratosphere Tower, 2 Wooden, and 4 Steel coasters, 4 Flat-rides including a Gryo-drop Tower, Large Ferris Wheel, Carousel, and a Xtreme Skyflyer.

I liked the original story better and I really liked the model tower as a skyline maker. I would push it back however so its not right on top of the entrance. I would also make your space more than a square model
What are these for?

The Ohio story actually works better, I don't have to deal with terrain at all, since the area I tested out was about as flat as you can get.

and also, the new entrance is right below, just replying to this first :)

I have planned out the entrance, and figured out where 1 of the wooden coasters, and the Gyro-Drop Tower will be going! Here is what I currently have

Note, the sign where the lady is, i'm still working on that, I actually had to size it up a bit ago, because I made it like the size of an Ipad. Without even realizing it. But It's fixed now, just adding last details.

The Drop Tower will have a different queue, RWN is working on it right now. But, here is what I originally had, plus the entire park.
