I don't like steam, i like to install my games where i want and play them where i want:P

You can choose where to install your games via steam now so that part isn't an issue anymore.

I don't mean where on the harddisc, i mean, awhile ago i just bought a game on a disc,i tried to install from the disc, but because steam couldn't be reached for a some reason(every other site worked fine) so i had to wait before i could play the game that i just bought for ?????????45.

I mean i just want to install and play games that i've bought without having to rely on something like steam. I know the software is property of them and you only buy the right to use it but you get the point.

Ah yes, well I do hate that issue, as well as this "release date check" that a lot of games have these days. No matter what way of buying or installing, there will always be issues, steam ain't perfect but it is handy to be able to install games without the need of a disk.

Mad data is good for me I like to get the D/L and save to a disk. Of the many years of NL and Scream Machine designs I've move to a few computers so having the disk makes it better.

Bit of a moot point in this case - it's never going to be Steam only so again I don't think the exposure of Steam is going to hurt anyone?

You can easily find a no-Steam crack. Run a virus scanner if you're afraid of it.

The games lock to your account, not your computer

k, lets get to reg chat. I heard from a source that its going to be through Mad-Data and no mention of steam. So lets get back on topic drooling over nl2 features. More importantly, keep on guessing the final track style that's yet to be revealed.

I really hope to see Mack coasters soon in NL2. Mack Megacoaster, Mack Watercoaster, Mack Mouse, Mack Youngstar... And ofcourse all modern MK1200/MK1212 trains of Vekoma. MK1300 support should be great also...

Dream modus off: I'll hope with the delay, that the Arrow Suspended will be included when released. It's my favorite rollercoaster to build in RCT, but what I remember from an interview was that it would not be included by the release in "end of 2013".

Any Mac users out there planning on trying to run NL2 via Parallels?

Is the simulator going to differentiate between lateral Gs and rotational Gs? The NL1 simulator lumps them together.

I could be wrong, but I believe it was announced to be released upon NL2's release. Do you have a link to said interview?

Rotational G's don't exist in real life why would they in the simulator? G force is measured from the heartline. Forces offset from the heartline will register.

There was a time when we were considering releasing the Arrow Suspended in NL1, but there was never a time when we were considering withholding it from NL2. It's a truly fun coaster style to play with. Ole did a bang up job on the physics modeling. You're going to love it. :)

^ Phyter, that link you provided doesn't take me to system requirements page.
Just to the top of the news page about the release date.

Edit: just realized you quoted it in your post. :P

Thanks Phyter!

If I remember correctly from the nolimits exchange it prevents people from using anything inside your park file, they can still open it and ride all the coasters but they can't use any assets you added to that park file, prevents coaster stealing and such.

You could upload a DxDiag file and give us the link.
I'm sure one of us could figure it out for you.
Here's how to get a DxDiag file
http://www.cyberlink.com/support/faq-content.do?id=6310

Just upload it to Dropbox or some other file hosting website that provides a link for others to download.

less than a week away, super excited. I just hope it runs on my computer. i've recently been havuing problems running the nl1 sim on my pc. the editor and everything else works fine, but when I open the sim the screen flashes and has bars running down the sim and shows/hides textures. It only started happening after installing windows 8.1. the really puzzling thing is screenshots and avi exports within the sim show none of the glitching.
