I like going in the river in the demo and diving up and down under water. Swimming in No Limits 2 is very fun. I just wish i could see more clearly under water.

I run the following:

AMD phenom II x4 965 BA @ 3.6Ghz
8 GB DDR3 1600Mhz
Nvidia Geforce GTX660

And here it runs as bad on med settings as on high. Performance wise this is NOT good.

They had eight years to build more than four new models, eight years and a late launch actually. The amount of of modern tracks since that time is far too low, it should have released with more for the price

*slaps you in the face*

If you've been around since the start you know there has been released a sh*tload of types since the very first release. NL 1.1 contained only a handful of steel coaster types. That was it!

You call 8 years time to build more than 4 models? Just under 7,5 years ago we received NL 1.6 that contained a whole update on all existing types, and it added a bunch of new coastertypes. Since that update you've received the X-cars, Vekoma Minetrain models and another spinning coaster for free.

NL2 has compared to NL1 again a bunch of new coaster types like the 4d coaster, arrow suspended, timberliners, mack launched, Dive machines, etc. And let's not forget they redesigned the entire program just to make it up to date to our normal computer graphic standards.

Oh and I hope you know that NL isn't made by those huge companies. This all started off as a hobby project from some people. They have normal daily lives. If you can work a fulltime job and still have plenty of time to start a rollercoaster simulation from scratch. Be my guest and begin right now. We'll hear from you in about 2-3 years when you finally have something(decent) to show.

Actually I've been around longer than you. I'v been designing "chunder-makers" since Disney's first coaster sim and Ultracoaster as well. This is before Scream Machines, Hyper Rails and the crappy Disney remake one. I'm not going to be impressed to get charged so much for things I've already had and made. And yes, 1.6 was a huge update. It also wasn't such an increase in price. You can have a "I've been here longer" trip if you "think" you are right but A. you're not and B. Way to be respectful of others before jumping to accusations and conclusions about people.

Also, they don'tt have permission to use all those train types as it is so that's not an excuse. Only certain trains get mentioned by company. They could have done the same for any other type they didn't have permission to brand just as they did with Intamin and B&M styles in both NL1 and 2.

You can fan boy geek and flame if you want. But I was expecting more, there should have been more with all the hype and time and basically nothing new was added that hasn't been in teaser vieos from the project start except timberliner trains, which if they had time to put in they could have put in other modern types as well.

basically its a new coaster sim that launched with outdated material and you want to slap me for having a problem with it... Kids these days >_>

From what I understand, NL2 is mostly aimed at a better interface and stuff like that, not purely about adding more coaster styles.

How to you get to the 3d view in the editor in the demo? I can get to the top view in the editor but no 3d fly view.

For those with decent hardware but unusually poor performance be sure to update your video card drivers. If you continue to experience problems post your full system specs, the park/s you're having trouble with and an explanation of the performance you're experiencing. We'll try to find a commonality between the problem systems. Thank you.

If more coaster styles is what you want there's always Rct3 [;)]
I personally am happy with the new styles they added, and they can always update and add more styles in later updates.

All drivers updated. i5-3570K @4,5GHz, 8 GB RAM, GTX 670 OC 2GB, demo installed on a SSD drive. Running Windows 8.1. Runs mostly smoothly at a steady 70 FPS (locked to that) but on all demo parks when there is alot of track visible the FPS dips to 30. Especially noticable on the hyper coaster when it turns around and heads towards the lifthill.

Well I am pleasantry surprised with NL2. I didnt expect it to get anywhere near the 12-15 FPS I was getting on the dive coaster and thats without changing the settings. Loving the ride panels to. They look much more realistic then the previous ones in NL1. Looks like I'll be getting this as soon as I can afford it. Till then, I've still got NL1 to play with.

It's taking FAR too long for the download to finish. I have to endure an entire day of work before I'm able to actually play it!

States it still has about seven hours left. [V]

OH MY GOD! I love the new Olympia Looping and "script park". Hopefully there will be soon more parks with flatrides or even.... Dark rides?!

Christ any chance we could get a US mirror? 7 hours to download a 698 mb file is absurd. Are we in 1998?

Runs decent enough on my 4 year old machine. When the whole scene is in picture, I get about 20 fps. When riding I get between 20-100 fps.

Quick note, though, does any one else find he placement of simulation panel intrusive? i liked NL 1's placement better

Same as other, the FPS is way to jumpy on my machine, anywhere between 20 en 70 FPS on most rides. Tango park is unridable for me.

Everything's working smoothly for me! Just need to get the actual game and not the demo.
Oh, were you expecting something here?

Only way I can get 100FPS is by looking directly down so I can't see any other track. Otherwise, unless I'm on minimum settings, looking anywhere else yields like 2 FPS.

Will investigate further later on, but off out now!

I think so far the Shuttle Park is my favorite.
Just because of how many coasters are running in it.
