The new styles were the most popular choices, both requested for NL and in real life parks, with the exception of the wing rider, but even that is still is a relatively new product with Raptor starting its 4th year of operation
What are these for?

Yes, my want is also the NL1 style navigation, in both the editor and the sim.

I also have a second "want". I wish you could just put straight sections of track. For example, just place the first node of the section and the second node, wherever you want - then there's a straight section of track between them that isn't affected by the movement of a node 4 bloody nodes away along the track, and just remains straight.

As good as the new method of building is for the track itself, it is a real chore to make straight sections that just stay straight. You seem to have to put about 3 nodes at each end of a straight section, lock this one, strict that one lock the next, etc. It just seems a bit of a farce for what should be the simplest thing in the entire editor. I just want a straight section! [lol]

Building straight track is very simple. I found you just double click each of the two nodes between which you would like straight track, and check the "strict" option.

I hope in the future they add cable lifts and cable launches. Unless this is something we need to script this in, then I have a lot to learn!

I would like something more diabolical and satisfying for NL crashes other then freezing the software and having a log pop up that tells me the ride crashed.

Fix
It's impossible to change catwalk color on wood coasters. Support color affects both.

I'd love a way to move the camera with the mouse in top-down or side views (ie hold space and drag to move around), it's way to cumbersome to use the scroll bars all the time. You can use alt+scroll but only for one axis.

Hold down the right mouse button and drag.

You can also also use alt+scroll for either axis. Roll the wheel for vertical, and tilt the wheel for horizontal.

I thought you were able to change that in the setup tab on the homepage. Guess not then.[V]

The game has be redesigned from the ground up hence not having time to model every coaster under the sun - which takes more time than you'd realise.

New coaster designs are generally driven by when a company wants to model their ride using the software so those styles are prioritised for development (Eurofighter, Booster Bike)

As they are a small development team you'd probably be better off hoping for a more specific list of coaster styles.

That is a lot of coaster types I would like to see NL. I would hardly think it would be feasible even in 11 years to get all that in with development. And yes there was a large shift of focus to the industry more than the community but a majority of the revenue I think will still come from the community, at least in program sales, for quite some time. This is a "WISH LIST" if you will[;)] I would be overjoyed if any three or four made it into updates.

With the exception of timeberliners and the dive trains, NL2 didn't add anything to the coaster design aspect that wasn't already in Scream Machines before NL1 came out. Transfer tracks included. So personally I was hoping that there was more unseen surprises in the track department but no worries, they did update NL1 so I'm sure they will NL2 as well.

And also there are some very awesome and unique concept rides that only aren't popular because of where they are in the world as well as concepts that for whatever reason were too expensive or difficult to offer on the main company product line that I would love to see fall into the hands of the community. Having a chance to model them might actually make them more popular, as well as the fact that they would make for more interesting downloads instead of loads of popular design copies[;)]

And as to the popularity, how many Trailered 4-car wooden, Face-to-face inverted, and Vekoma Locomotive mine train coasters have you seen uploaded? If it came down to time, I personally wouldn't have minded seeing some of those lesser used types re-added in an update for more time to work on adding new ones

Want: would like all those little popup windows in both Edit and Play modes to remember where they were last moved to, when they're next opened, along with my previous Want to have them able to move outside the parent window.

Hmmm... I'm going to throw in a little list of rides that seem interesting enough to me and tons of fun to build them in NL2, even tho most of the rides aren't build yet or much:
- S&S Free Fly
- S&S Free Fly Extreme (Aka. Their 360????????? flip concept)
- Intamin ZacSpin
- Intamin Bobsled
- Mack Bobsled
- Maybe even the wooden bobsled that Knoebels has redesigned?
(When I look at the list. It's pretty much any coastertype that has free swinging and such. [lol])

Edit:
Issue:
- When running the 4D coaster in backwards mode. The 4D parameter you place on the track, is still like it's running forwards instead of backwards. Maybe an idea to flip this around to show the correct seating direction when running in backwards mode?

Want:
- Further rotation in the 4D seat rotation. Now we can only rotate up to 270????????? forwards and backwards...
Coastercount: 1410 (I've seen the world and it's horrid contraptions... @.@)
- Wood: 142
- Steel: 1268

To be able to make whole support and free node structures into 3ds like in NL1 with the construction kit.

Nobody's probably gonna agree with me ,but I'll go ahead and say it anyways! Side Friction coasters just because I think that would be interesting. Chances of that happening seem almost impossible though.
