Everyone,

Welcome to the new site. We are a bit late on the original time frame, but better later then never. We had to overcome a lot of significant technical problems to do this migration, I think you will be pleased we what we have come up with for phase one. Please give some props to mikerichardson for knocking this project out of the park.

If you see any problems please post them to this thread.

It lives!!! But it looks a little odd without news articles... like the site is very sparse.

Glad to see the new site up! Hopefully we can change color schemes! I already miss my Manta theme :(
Oh, were you expecting something here?

I've been bothering Mike the coder about it. Says it's there but have not been able to test it :\

I had been waiting for your new site and today I could log on without any problem, just in the way I did before! It's really fun to see the contents being added, every time I refresh the page! 8-)

Same, was so happy to see something like that for the first time in beta last week on this site.

Looks good. Much more functional than the old site in my opinion!

Very minor quibble:

On my edit profile => Birthday selection

My day only shows the first figure ie. "2" instead of "28". Its not a huge bug just made me think I'd selected 2nd!instead of 28th :P :)

I don't have any strong feelings one way or the other about the aesthetics of the site. I do like the sliders when rating and being able to like tracks now, but what are we supposed to put in the realism category if this is a fantasy coaster? Also, has the chat been removed?

Yeah that 2 instead of 28 has been noticed and have not fixed it. Rest assured though when u pick 28, it is a 28 and not a 2, for some reason it covers the other half of the number. I need to mess with that one still.
Thanks!

Couple more bug errors: Got these two errors trying to look at the following URLS:

URL:
viewtopic.php?f=76&t=32818

Error:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected end of file in C:\inetpub\wwwroot\forums\includes\functions.php on line 1396

URL:
viewtopic.php?f=4&t=32817

Error:
Warning: Unterminated comment starting line 4418 in C:\inetpub\wwwroot\forums\includes\functions.php on line 4418

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected 'http' (T_STRING) in C:\inetpub\wwwroot\forums\includes\functions.php on line 4419

Worked on refresh - I was opening multiple tabs within a short amount of time. The final tab loaded fine.

You get a different set of criteria to rate on when it's uploaded as a fantasy. Same goes with recreations, realistic and parks. This is one the main features of the update site. When people upload tracks we will see these different criterua for different tracks show up.
The chat is temporarily removed and easily brought back. It will be back as soon as we iron the bugs out.

The coder is investigating the cause of this.

Look for this line in your HTML:
<label for="bday_day">Day: <select name="bday_day" id="bday_day" style="width: 4em;">

The highlighted portion is inline CSS and over rides anything in your CSS file. Change it to 5em and you should be good.

Now do the same for the line that deals with the month, it will need to be enlarged too.
