Thanks again for the birthday wishes. Here are your pics as promised.
First, I wanted to show the old-school wooden coaster I mentioned earlier. The original idea was to design a wooden coaster as if it were revived from an old, overgrown and run-down amusement park as part of some sort of big renovation. Only issue is that would take a lot of 3ds, and I already have enough on my plate. Though simple, I like what I have of the layout (plus what I have planned), and I think it really works for the given style. Should be a pretty atmospheric scene if I finish it. Not a whole lot to see, but I think it's an interesting idea/project for what it is.
Next is a pretty sweet Intamin prefab wooden coaster. I think I hit just the right blend of originality and adherence to style on this one. The vast majority of the layout is in place and nearly finalized...just trying to finalize a few details of one section. There's a specific focus on a certain experience that isn't often explored by existing companies, and what I think are some clever setups and details designed to achieve that goal without compromising anything else. Though it won't be a terrain coaster like say Boulder Dash or The Beast, the landscaping should be decently interesting, and should improve the overall experience. This one is more likely to be finished and released.
