I know there's been a massive influx of these the instant NL2 came out, but they're one of my favourite ride models! So I'm just trying out a few things, but quite happy with half the layout so far. Ignore the colours for now, I'm just playing about

Yeah! Bob is back.

That little bit we can see looks awesome right now. I like how it rolls out of the pretzel.

I like your pretzel loop variant. Looks excellent so far.

Yummy inversions! Just looking at your track, I can say yours will be cooler! You should be happy with "twistiness" not seen on regular B&M Flyers: Your Originality. [8D]

Been doing more work on the ride, and I quite like it. I've incorporated some of my favourite flyer elements to the ending. They may not be to everyones tastes and they're a definite contrast to the twist-and-force first half, but I feel it works. I've always been obsessed with capturing that floaty exhilarating flying sensation, and I feel the tracks getting there, I just need to get the surroundings to emphasis this.

Screens.

Once again ignore the colours for now, I haven't quite figured out how to present the ride as a package. It's getting there though, feels like I haven't done a project in AGES.

Looks sick - that entire section with the roll is rather aesthetically pleasing!

Yeah the finale is similar to S:UF but I've tweeked the shaping. There's quite a few B&M inspirations here, the pretzel was initially inspired by Heide Park's new wing rider and the turn after is taken inspired by skyscrapper (along with the first drop), even the air-time hill was added as it's my favourite part of Air, and the whole conceptual theme is based on Wild Eagle's.

I may get slated in my originality score but when I build a B&M I like to stick to the rules. I feel as a package it's a different experience that I'd happily queue up for in real life (that's the test I run through in my head when deciding to complete a project).

There's ways (which you've already showed) to keep your coaster unique whilst sticking true to B&M< style. If anything a ride that does that well is likely to get a better rate from me personally!

Just an overview of the ride from the "guest plaza" area (hopefully the main first view of the ride). I'm quite proud of how the layout sits in the skyline from this view. Also if you ever notice a trim brake in any pictures, don't be offended. I've had to add one as I'm a perfectionist. I don't believe pacing means "fast paced" and the second half slightly over sped. But I guess it adds an element of realism :P.

I love that drop!
Have always wanted to go on a Flyer with a drop like that, not one with a turn.

Bit of support and terrain work =).

Going up the lift.

The "swoop turn/overbank" weaves between some of the lift supports.

I was gonna have a minor gripe about the angle of the supports at the top lift hill but apparently AIR (my only IRL experience with a flyer) does its lifts supports slightly different - which thinking about it is probably because its not nearly as high off the ground! So keep up the good work!

I think Air's are slightly different because the lift has to straddle over Nemesis' final corner.

I based my supports on Sky Scrapper in China.

I may be over-posting images here but NL2 makes everything look so pretty =D and I'm really enjoying working on it atm.

Here are the first few elements.

Yeah, I did a little more research on the supports - you're mostly right. The earlier support on air would sit on top of Nemesis's last turn so they put it at an angle - then mirrored it on the next support to balance out the lateral supports in the foundation!

Yeah don't worry your supports are more than good :)

Plus keep up the picture posting!

I think adding trees is similar to adding customized supports that make one coaster in project, look much better! Keep going at your own pace! :D

A few more screens. Got alot of terrain work to do and clearances, along with a finalised name and logo. So watch this space

Please note that if you use special characters in the exchange, they might not show up. I think it was coded so special characters aren't allowed. Other than that, the track looks very good :D

^ I'm thinking of changing the name to simply Hawk. It's abit ... obvious? though.

Invested in NL2-Pro (tis payday) which is fabulous! Which means pretty screens but also I've tweeked the friction slightly, as I feel it was running as if it was all hard wheels so needed a trim. But now I can eliminate the trim =) and it's running as planned.
