I've just recently finished scripting a S&S Screamin' Swing for everyone to use as scenery in their park. The Download is now on the exchange (http://www.coastercrazy.com/20229/SS-Sc ... -Flat-Ride), it is based on Rush at Thorpe Park.

Here is a tutorial on how to use/put it together in your own park:

(The speed of the attraction's arms have been slowed down a touch since the youtube video was recorded)

Can you do a ride-able scripted 3ds Ferris wheel? Check you PMs.

^I will probably try it in the future, I'm still trying to get a good foot hold at scripting these flat rides at the moment. Most of my scripts are very amateurish and messy since I'm still a somewhat novice at scripting. Until I build my prowess a little bit more, a ferris wheel is a little too complex for me atm.

I wonder if sometime you might be able to do any or all of the following once you're skilled enough: Gyro drop tower, Zipper, KMG Speed, or Frisbee.

Gyro Drop shouldn't be too difficult, I'm now working on an 5 gondola Intamin Giant Drop, a gyro drop would simply be just changing it to 1 spinning gondola.

Zipper and KMG, maybe in the future

Frisbee, probably sooner rather than later for this one, it's simpler and I'm pretty much half way there with the SS.

You seem to be the only scripter that is even willing to script this kind of stuff, so keep it up!

A small update on the ride. I've now managed to turn the ride into a single object, this means that you won't have to go through that tutorial to put it together, it also means that the ride can be at any inclination/angle now, as demonstrated here:

^Only thing I can suggest is you might be opening the wrong file, I just downloaded the one that I put on the exchange and it's the single object version.

I don't know what is going on. if I open your new file all by itself I get a load of missing files and textures errors.

I didn't edit or do anything to it only download it to desktop and open it in NL2. I tried putting it into the track file to but same result.

I'm genuinely don't know what's going on, is anyone else getting this problem too?

If this is also happening to other people, I have a small fix to get rid of the error, but it will make the ride look a bit uglier; if it's not, I'm stumped.

I'm also getting the error - it would seem the texture files its trying to refer to don't exist on my computer.

good someone else has the problem and its not just me.

as I looked deeper, it seems the textures are there in the file but the names were changed from V1, so its not finding the new textures. If I knew anything about modeling I would fix it.

is there any way I can download the original version?

Yes, if you go here, http://www.coastercrazy.com/20229/SS-Sc ... -Flat-Ride, then click on Rev 1 near the download button, that should download the original one for you.

The thing that has changed between rev 1 and rev2 is that the object is now a .lwo instead of a .3ds. I'm guessing that lwo files save differently to 3ds as in Plantoris's (plantori?) screenshot, it says it is looking for the files on my computer even though it's not on my pc anymore.

I tried that but it only lets me download the latest version not previous ones.

Means your using Chrome or Firefox, use Internet Explorer.
It's a bug Oscar identified awhile ago but it isn't fixed yet.
