Due to the lacks of ratings, only 1 track obtained ratings last week and thus the default gold medal winner.

Maybe we'll get lucky and have more than 1 winner the end of this week.

Why don't we delay the awards by a week so rides that are uploaded on Saturday / Sunday have enough time to be rated?

Or move the weekly awards or like a Wednesday?

Oscar and I kind of agree the 2 weeks would be a mess, but I think if you delayed it to Wednesday, it allows the people to finish up over the weekend and then it gives them a few days for people to rate. Especially with the new points system being put into place, more rates will definitely be occurring I would think.

delay for 2 weeks it can be a mess unless we do it 1 week and 6 days right now and awards are done on Saturday not a day later. Setting very strict must do this work on this date deadlines are difficult to stand by and if we let it go by an extra day, then it becomes a lot more work to sort out the tracks uploaded said week, filter out qualifying tracks, etc. Doing it on the 1 week 6th day is much easier since we'll used the last week's top rated tracks column for the filtering.

I'll try some things out and see what happens. no promises though.

Fine do it on the Wednesday afterwards so filtering makes life slightly easier. I don't think its acceptable for a track that's uploaded on the sunday to be at such a disadvantage - and it just leads to all the uploads being skewed to the beginning of the week (meaning more rides get lose off the front page very quickly)

I don't agree with the "lot more work" however - I timed myself to do week end April 12th and it took me less than 4 minutes to determine the top 3 and to check the rates were valid rates...?
