Got some supports up, I'm kind of happy with the way they're turning out.

I know it impedes on your path somewhat but I'd definitely go for a vertical support on the roll rather than a side support - I just think its more... "B&M"

Agreed, and make sure those supports are thick enough everywhere, cause flyer trains are heavy!

Use the vertical support on that area that conflicts with the path. You can always move the path a bit.

So will these work? This support is crazy close and barely passes envelope test.

Then there's this, I added the middle support as we see on most B&M twists like that. What do you guys think?

Welp, if it passes envelope, I'm gonna say yes, the supports work, and good decision on the middle support like B&M does.
It's looking like this will be a very neat flyer!

And then there's this. It seems to be the only way to realistically support that part. I know I'm going to rework the roof like I did on Fenrir but idk how to do the roof on that part to guard from rain. anyone have any ideas?

the little grey things on the bases of them is not the footer, it would be a little modular steel grate covering the rest of the exposed area.

Would something like this be doable in your situation? I can't quite see how the transfer track is placed so this might be a dumb suggestion. This might be a good way to have only one pole in the station instead of two.

Unfortunately no, That is not possible, there is not enough room :(

Now for something cool
Meet the Turbo Grate System! Made out of the finest supports available!

Measuring at just 16 cm in diameter this little buddy will surely help any water issues that the station may have.

EDIT: Made the "holes" a little brighter to blend in with the ground better.

Remember this exists, and opportunities to make legit wonky supports for a good reason are few and far between.

Alright, this is just stage one of the lift supports, but what do you guys think?

Image

stage 2 is the "moveable" grate thing that you see on this video in the beginning:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f-VZzc-KstM

and stage 3 is the lift motor housing and the ending ladder thing as seen in these pics

I don't see anything bad about the supports in the station. f they pass the clearance envelope they are fine. And I like a lot how small the lift looks, nice work.

Hey guys, I'll be Live Streaming the build of some of the finer details of the ride today in 30 minutes (2pm PST). Come say hi!

Sup
The stream ended, got to say hi to some new people, and we got some detailing stuff done :)

Went from this
Image

to this
Image

btw that thing in the sky is aligned with the track and is meant to make sure anything I add to the lift is straight. Yay for perfection!

I've even started on making the other part of the track for the emergency floor on the lift
Image

This part here bothers me fiercely.
Image

All of the flyers go from 0* to 45* almost instantly and I wanted to replicate that. Unfortunately NoLimits makes it difficult and Razevil suggested that I make it using separate invisible tracks. I one upped him and made the extension as well.
Image

I spared no expense in making this the best possible user+support made extension. All of the details are to scale and as perfect as can be
Image

I even made sure to get the C-Beams in as well, pretty accurate to scale and I love it :)
Image

The next thing I will be adding to it before attachment to the lift is the emergency floor which should be a bit of a pain to make lol. I hope you guys enjoyed this stream/update!

Great job on the evac floor and the OCD details are always appreciated.

Lol OCD details... It's funnier because of how accurate that statement is when I make support scenery.

The lift is now complete minus the motor housing but that's no issue to make at all, that part'll be done by tonight. Then I support the rest of the ride, followed by bridges and trees and finishing touches terrapainting. Then catwalk ladders. Then track-switch catwalks because NL2 doesn't have the proper catwalks for them. Then I do the fences and handrails followed by other small theming parts which I am still figuring out.

So I made different supports to try them out. How do you guys like them?

Image

This one was inspired by Great Bear as seen here

Image

But I extended the top tube in order to redistribute the weight balance. What do you guys think? I'd love some feedback

Looks much better than the awkward pole smack in the middle of the station.

This is looking better and better with each update. I like those strange supports, they make your ride a lot more unique.
