RipTide Coaster Almost Ready @ Miracle Strip @ Pier Park

The all new Miracle Strip @ Pier Park, which officially opened to guests last month, is wrapping up construction of their new RipTide roller coaster. The coaster is a Galaxi which was originally manufactured by S.D.C. The park has given the ride a full refurbishment and a bright new coat of paint, which I trust you'll notice in these photos!

This photo shows off the small amount of track that was left to be placed as of this past week. Miracle Strip @ Pier Park hopes to have RipTide up and running for the busy Memorial Day Weekend.

RipTide comes to the park from Splash Kingdom Waterpark in California, and before that was at Adventureland in Iowa. The original Miracle Strip Amusement Park had a very similar coaster as well.
