What do you think about Superman ROS at SFNE beating Millennium Force for top steel coaster of 2003?

Even with SFNE being my home park, and having ridden S:ROS countless times, and feeling lucky that I live so close to it...I kinda might prefer MF as My #1 vote...both would be in my top two, though...

Maybe it's that CP was a real vacation trip, maybe it's the atmosphere (CP being lovely, SFNE being scary filthy), maybe it's the novelty factor...

...and check out Top Thrill Dragster...not a bad showing for having so much down time...

...and a surprise (maybe), another favorite coaster, Joker's Jinx at Six Flags in Maryland not even making the list?

[?] What would you say your five favorite steel coasters are?

I think it would be great for Superman to win, as MF has won for the past 2-3?? years

I personaly think Expedition GeForce is by far the best steel coaster. I would also like to see Nemy Inferno on there, imo its far superior to its ageing sister which is in 7th.

Also i think deuling dragons shouldbe higher on the list, the coaster looks awesome

[lol] I'd like to trade Goliath for Alpengeist [:p]

Anyway don't agree on most placings also agree on what the edge said. Expedition G force should be up on first place, closely followed by Goliath at least in the top 10. It's weird superman is above MF...

Just looked at the list, there are some big mistakes. 1st of all, why isn't X rated first???!!! Also, Despereado should be much higher. also, why are SF clones so spread out when they have the same layout. I was dissapointed b some other rankings, too, such as Riddler's Revenge being below Superman at SFMM, an impulse coaster, and some other not so great rides. Lastly, why did shockwave make it over Viper? Sorry for rambling, Ill shut up now.

X, although a great ride would not be first for me. The layout is not particuarly amazing compared to some rides. The batman rides are so far apart mainly imo due to themeing and surroundings * why do you think nemesis is 7th ;) I do agree riddlers revenge should be higher on the list as it is voted by ace'rs the worlds best stand up

im suprised that blackpool peasure beach is 3rd, not that it's a bad park or anything. im glad valhalla got 1st place for best water ride because it is the best indoor log flume by far. i have never been on a ride that attractive before.

It doesn't really have any good wooden coasters.

Anyways, yeah, umm the list is just a bunch of extremely overrated rides, I'd ride a good Wild mouse over most of them, except SROS@SFNE and Expedition GeForce look pretty awesome though. MF is the most overrated coaster ever made.

MF is not the most overrated coaster ever made, it's just closed-minded people that think that. I'd say Exp. GeF and Superman:ROS@SFNE are both probably better than MF, but it's an amazing ride.

And on the wooden side...Lightning Racer 7th?!!?? What a joke. But hey, Viper@SFGAm is 23rd...it is a surprisingly good ride.

Top Gun at carowinds is 39 out of 50. Not to bad for us in North Carolina and it's 5 years old now.
