Kings Dominion's Rebel Yell is very rough.

Rebel yell was so rough and jackhammering when I rode it last Thursday. I got tiny pops ejector airtime from the warpy track and the ton of jackhammering. Now my back has been hurting on and off since I went there. I am 22 years old so it seems like it should not affect my back very much. I wish they would topper track rebel yell so that it would be much smoother. The turn out of the station and the rest of the prelift was so warpy I could see the trains swaying and wiggling as we went to the lift.

Anyone else notice how rough Rebel Yell has gotten?

I rode it about 2 months ago, it's rough and old, but that's how it should be, and people seem to like it, but yes, it is rough.

The Shockwave TOGO jetcoaster is much better and smoother. I like it much more.

I also rode the Hurler later that afternoon and it was very rough and had no airtime.

How does it compare to Mean Streak? I actually like Mean Streak in the front. It has some weak laterals lol

Hurler is worse especially since Mean Streak has had work done to it to make it better and Hurler has not had quite as much help if any.

Yeah, Hurler and Rebel Yell both are far worse than Mean Streak IMO. Mean Streak is still pretty bad, though, even with the work... it seems like no work done on MS ever lasts for more than a season or so before it gets ripped apart again. Iron Horse Treatment anyone??? If only...

^ Hope they do, it would save the park a lot of money and time so they wouldn't have to keep trying to fix what will only be broken again.

Rebel Yell is the worst coaster I've ever ridden. The constantly-vibrating train made it impossible to enjoy a single aspect of the ride.

Interesting, I thought it was rough, but not as bad as you are describing.
