It was running about 20-22 seconds faster then...the pacing is sped up quite a bit. It's still no CCI or RMC, but it has no dead spots and the pacing is tighter.

absolutely lol. Not really that I had the video, but the fact that I specifically had the VHS is the kicker seeing as kids today don't even know what VHS stands for or even is.

I was lucky last year to visit Cedar Point for the 1st time, and was looking forward to riding this ride, it was on the CAN'T LEAVE WITHOUT RIDING list. And during the first drop, i was like "wow, not alot of airtime on that", as the ride continued i kept waiting and waiting for something! but no, little to nothing of airtime. It was really disappointing, the ride is HUGE! Even Ghost Rider at Knotts still has some airtime to it, even though it's also lost its edge.
That is not the employee rumor for next year. Also don't anyone message me asking what the employee rumor is because I'm not stupid enough to say it (and it's probably hot air).
As far as the ride goes it has laterals in the front and I think if they killed the brakes on the drop and toned down the MCBR it would still be lame but actually do something at least.

i rode it in 2007 and it was rough and not fun, but then i rode it again last year i rode it and it was fun and had been greatly improved.. n i dont see a point on putting a rmc makeover on this, its fine the way it is
^ Yea, they started retracking it a few years ago, which is why it has gotten better these last couple years. I think an RMC would be nice, chance of it happening, not likely imo.
Sure they retracked some of it to make it less rough, but the ride itself is still bad. Even the initial design I believe was a failure. It really lacks everything that makes a wooden coaster awesome. And now that they've slowed it down with brakes (for good reason), there's even less airtime and lats that may have been there before. We won't see RMC work with Cedar Fair until Six Flags is done bullsh!tting around with them. Even then, who knows if Cedar Fair would consider that option at all.
