Six Flags Fiesta Texas' water park, White Water Bay, has debuted the all-new Bahama Blaster water slide tower, featuring what the park is calling the "world's steepest water slide." The addition is located in the back of the park, located near the giant Lone Star Lagoon wave pool.
The slides feature an 80 degree plunge that starts with a trap-door fall from nearly six stories in the sky. Two of the slides drop riders straight downward, while the other two feature a 360 degree horizontal loop before hitting the run-out lane. Riders can hit speeds of up to 40 miles per hour on way down the brightly colored slides.
Bahama Blaster is not the only addition to White Water Bay this year. The park has also built a new swim up lounge (with dry access as well) named Dom Julio's Beach Bar. Serving adult beverages and other snacks, the new addition is sure to prove a hot spot for those in need of some relaxing. The pool that was built adjacent to the bar also has a pair of new children's slides - and right around the corner are new cabanas that can be rented.
Six Flags Fiesta Texas opened the mighty Iron Rattler coaster last year, and with this year's water park expansion is making sure to cater to all of its guests.
