We received a report from a user at Kings Island earlier today that another electrical fire has ignited at Flight of Fear. For the second time in two weeks fire fighters have responded to the Mason Ohio Theme Park for reports of smoke inside the show building and ride area. The previous incident involved a fan motor, but the latest incident has an unspecified external electrical panel to blame.

Kings Island's PR representative Don Helbig issued the following statement: "Saturday at about 10:35 a.m. smoke was detected coming from an electrical panel located outside of the Flight of Fear building. Kinds Island emergency personnel responded quickly and the damage was limited to the electrical panel. As always, the safety of our guests and associates remains our number one priority."

Man that's terrible. I'm sure both didn't have anything to do with each other, but it was just their time to fry back to back. That's terrible publicity. Hope KI takes the time to check everything now, and then replace things in the Winter.
