NL2 - Renegade - Coming 7/1/14!

Renegade is a fast paced B&M Giga coaster, topping off at 306 feet and speeds along at a top speed 90 mph on its 6,391 foot long track.

Renegade also sports an element rarely, if not never before seen on this style of coaster. Quickly spinning you around 360 degrees before finishing your wild ride, Renegade throws its final punch and hurls you into the first-ever barrel roll on a B&M Giga!

some of the ride looks weird such as the mellow hill into the brake run, the curved stuff before the station. I'd love to see some more pics if you would be willing to share. btw I love the roll idea, I'd like to see how you shaped it

Sure! I was playing around with the design at this section, and opted for that 'mellow hill' to provide a slower decrease of speed into the brake run (rather than a steeper grade with a much quicker drop of speed) and allow the train to keep up most of its speed. I also needed to shorten the length between the brake run and the roll (that hill was the last element to be added, actually!) and that shallow hill adds a bit of length to the track.

Crudely drawn here in MS Paint is the old design (red line), before the slope was added. I was considering a splashdown effect, but I figured that would slow down the train and take away from the big "360 degree spin!" finale.

Glad you like the roll idea! I figured people would like it since it's so different, and not really expected on a ride like this. I did my best to showcase the shape, if you have any more questions or would like to see other parts of the ride feel free to ask

I'm not sure how those trains would take an inline twist. Definitely a unique ride you got here

as or the brakes, I was more referring to the final brakes rather than the MCBR. Although if I were you I'd keep the train hugging the ground for as long as possible on that turn before the MCBR.

Oh, you meant the final brake run? I thought you were referring to the MCBR, haha! Those two are easy fixes, I can work them out before I post the track here. Unfortunately, I've already finished the ride's video so I'm not in a position to have it fixed for that And as for the trains, they take the roll fairly well, I worked it out the best that I could. Kinda hard to work something out that's never been done before!

It would be great to see lightning when going up the lift hill! And it also makes me think of vampire themed parks on RCT3! The weather is just like that!
