No, you cannot change the height of the grid. The max height is 150M (480ft.)

i reckon it should go up to 1000ft. that would be cool riding a rollercoaster that is that high.

well in the future, people will probaly come up with some way to make them 800ft and over. the supports will probaly have to be extremly thick with a harder materal.

i don't think that coasters will get much bigger, they will just become better, It doesn't make sence to make a 800ft tall coaster, when you can make a never-before done type, or style at 200ft.

well it depends on what the public wants really. i just thought that people would want rollercoasters to get bigger and bigger as one of the top 5 things on the list. i would accually like to see new crazy inversions rather than keep going higher.

i think a 1000 fot coaster is possible, why wouldnt it be? it would be expensive as all hel but still, if they can build a 1500 foot building, then why the heck not? i just hope they build it in the usa so i dont gotta go far toget to it

i dont see why an 800 foot tall coaster isnt possible, thats less than 2x the height of dragster! i think that 800 feet is completely in range ;) and speaking of a 1000 foot ride, they could put it on the side of the stratosphere tower! the top of that thing is already an amusement park! it would be awsome! a 1000 foot drop! thats like...200 mph! hehe (i think the natural speed limit for humans in freefall while skydiving is 340 mph, i dont know for coasters ;))

well as some guy said when Gemini opened at Cedar Point in 1978 'I think we've got as tall as we will ever get' And in 25 years coaster heights have gone near enough 4 times the height of Gemini

I don't think that will ever happen, you ever tried driving a car at 200 mp/h, you should try to take a breath at a speed like that. Of course I mean, take a breath outside of the car by opening a window (or door [lol])

I deleted one of em now.

anyway, back on topic
A windshield would be kinda boring, since you could just get in your car and floor it and you would get the same experience. A windshield would take away the sense of speed and thus a big part of the thrill.
