Thanks CKidd for your response. I actually already know about that site but not really what I was thinking of. It tells all coaster and basic specs but was looking for much more detail. For example how much track after the first drop to the next inversion, degree of lift or drop, curve bank in degrees, or circumference of the circle. For example ROAR af SFA has these specs... Length: 3,468 ft Height: 94.6 ft Drop: 85 ft Inversions: 0 Speed: 50.5 mph Duration: 1:52 G-Force: 3.5
I could eyeball it in the build and come up with something close but if you change a single part of the track it would affect the length of the track. If there were better specifications then we could build better models.
Unfortunately, that sort of information is not publicly released. Forces at any point during a drop, or the exact radius or banking of a turn, for example is proprietary information that the park's R&D team, the designer, and the manufacturer are privy too.

If you want information you're best off emailing the park in question - worst they can do is say no - and there might be the off chance they say yes and send you over some blueprints or similar! Just be polite about it and don't expect them to give you anything
what you should do is get a pic of the coaster from the top in google maps and use it as an overlay. it takes some tweaking to get the scale right but it works well. I got my Wild Thing within' 10 ft.
Thanks all for the input! I will try that! I actually know the park director at my home park (SFA) so I will ask. I would really like to do an accurate model of The Jokers Jinx.
