B&M hyper drops are tricky. You need to hit the right angle, and force. This translates to your lift peak radius. You have a straight section for the lift, the curved section for the peak, and what you're missing for FVD++ to translate into a drop is another curved piece that sets the angle and force for the rest of the drop. Bear in mind that B&M doesn't really tend to make 0G drops. More like 0.5G, or on B&M loopers, and floorless models, around 0.7 - 0.8

I hope that helps!

Thanks man! Yeah this was 20 times easier to achieve in Newton 2. also do you recommend force sections or geometric sections for this? also can you maybe make an example drop for me if you have the time? Just so I can see your approach to it?

Force sections by far. Geometric sections are really only useful for pre-lift sections like on Kraken.

So I just found this. He uses geometric sections for a lot of it.

But if you could show me how you do it if you have the time that would be great!

That's recreating a specific drop for a very accurate recreation. He's much more concerned about the shape right now, and has learned how to dial in the forces he needs. For your purposes (I'm guessing) you're leaning more towards an original concept, rather than a recreation. Here's my half-assed attempt at the drop in the photo you posted.

Please note: It appears that the particular drop you were trying to build does in fact hit 0G, but it is not necessary all the time.

Yeah I thought that 0.5 didn't look right at all.

I could probably get that drop right on the money if I really tried. What coaster is it?
