TBH it's much worse in NL2 due to the interface sucking horribly. Why Ole thought driving everything through a million different popups was a good idea, with no clear indication of what you're actually adding, I'll never know

Are there any tools to help make supports and flanges in NL1?

naw NL2 support making is way better. Its not perfect but its WAY better. The whole copy and paste, and flange node make it 10 times better!

I agree supporting with in NL2 is pretty easy once you sit down and play with all the options, still have trouble with putting custom supports on wooden coasters but thats because the dots hurt my eyes

^I mostly have trouble with the wooden ones because the offset/rotation sometimes glitches and it makes doing the side beams much more tedious

^^True that. If I try to even modify wooden supports, I just stare at it until I forget what Im doing
