Scratch me off the list GFA I'm pullin out. I have hardly started with my park and it just plain sucks where it is right now anyways and as my school is starting up again in two days i will have absolutely no time at all to get anything done. I will just have to stick to creating coasters and only coasters for now. Thanks!

chicken?
Creating coasters is easy imo. SOme of you guys out there reckon your pro's because you design good rollercoasters. Rollercoaster tycoon isnt all about rollercoaster (although the same seems to beg differently) theres is much more of a skill in building a complete theme park rather than building one coaster with a fancy station

I totally agree on that, making a good ride in RCT1 or 2 isn't all that hard since the limited options. Creating a whole park involves much more theming and thinking and above all: skill. It might be cool to upload a nice track from time to time but this game is more about building parks and not about just building one ride.
Also that a park sucks is not a reason to sign out, you won't improve your skills with that. When i joined the Oldo Towers contest at themepark.nl I've hardly ever used RCT2 before however i had alot of experienc with RCT1.
I don't wanna be rude because if you just don't have time for it that's ok with me. No problem, but I am just saying this in general.

Yeah i know, I shouldn't really be dropping out but with like two weeks to go there is absolutely no way I could get anything done now. Before you announced the competition, I was planning to work on a park of my own and stuff and go at my own pace. So that's what I'm gonna go with for now...

BTW what I have seen uploaded so far have been awesome! I really want to see what everyone comes up with for this one.

True, but I am struggling to even make rides do to the limited time I have been able to spend on my computer...

YeahInsert, I am... You notice when you download parks, they will have some of the best theming you will ever see... Then you get to the rides... well there not realistic or there just UGLY... Then there are the parks that have bad theming and bad rides... Well, must I go any further...

I've been working on this darn park almost non-stop since I got the scenario. However, I have definitely created a park that is tainted towards the side of coaster enthusiasts. I have 3 massive wooden coasters, each with an excitement rating over 9, and one over 10! I have also made a giga-coaster with an excitement of 11.70, a vertical spiraling steel twister with a 10.07, a bobsled with a 7.84, and a vertical drop coaster with a 9.74. I'm just now touching up the "Kiddy Kingdom" section of the park, and I have already built park sections themed as: Tropical Island, Splash Town, Main Street, Japanese Gardens, and Alpine Adventure. I still have some work to do to balance the intensities of the rides, but I think that the coaster work is just about my best ever. You will all get to see the finished park when I post it tonight.

I'm almost done with my park, I gotta do some minnor touches and add a few more rides and name them all. I stuck with the natural beauty of the park. I didn't like over crowding a park with rides and shops, but I still manage to build 10-12 coasters and tons of rides and shops in a very wooded and well landscaped park setting.

Well you don't have to expect them before next weekend. I'm really busy with school at the moment and judging an rct park takes quite some time. Anyway I'll try to get it done A.S.A.P.
