For Wood, I'd have to say Boss.

For Steel, Maverick.

Steel - Furius Baco. Even though it may be pretty rough, I just really seem to love FB, the (soon-to-be-not-so) one of a kind ride experience, the theming and the location in the park is just amazing.

Wood - Stampida (before the KumbaK trains). I loved Stampida, it was one of my first woodies and always provided a thrilling ride,Now it is just a painful mess since the KumbaK trains got added ... and that's saying something when you consider my Furius Baco is my top steel coaster.

Can't pick between Shambhala and Nemesis for my top spot. Not buying into your opinion of furious bacon though projektion - its well themed but the ride is short and a bit lacklustre in my opinion!

It's difficult for me to pick a 1 favorite but I might be leaning toward the Voyage at Holiday World because it never lets up, and I like wooden rides with lots of drops. To me it seems like the epitome of "out of control woodie". I don't mind the roughness.

While I somewhat agree that some parts of it are fairly "meh", to me, the good parts (Launch, inversion, swoop over the lake, theming,...) greatly out weigh the bad (the rest of the layout). It was also my first time experiencing an Intamin launch which was much more forceful than I was expecting when I first rode it which also left a great impression.

That said, Dragon Khan is a close second.

Yeah there are definitely some good parts to the ride (the lake swoop is very picturesque and the launch in the back seat is the best my limited launching self has experienced) so yeah - I agree definitely a good ride just maybe not a top one for me :)

Very interesting list, Volcano over I305? Really, I love Volcano and all, but, hey, we all got different tastes.

My top 10 so far.

Parks visited - Kings Dominion, Busch Gardens Williamsburg, Hersheypark (didn't get to ride Lightning Racer or Fahrenheit though), Dorney Park, Six Flags America

1. Intimidator 305 - Kings Dominion
2. Skyrush - Hershey Park
3. Storm Runner - Hershey Park
4. Batwing - Six Flags America
5. Superman: Ride of Steel - Six Flags America
6. Volcano - Kings Dominion
7. Steel Force - Dorney Park
8. Apollo's Chariot - Busch Gardens
9. Griffon - Busch Gardens
10. Grizzly (I need to travel for some better wooden coasters, Grizzly is great, but this shouldn't be the best wooden coaster I've ever ridden) - Kings Dominion

I haven't ridden too many coasters (I would if I could!), but here's my list. Might be introducing you guys to some coasters you haven't heard about since I don't travel much :)

1- Skyrush (Hershey)
2- Stormrunner (Hershey)
3- Millennium Force (Cedar Point)
4- Phantom's Revenge (Kennywood, and this is one seriously underrated ride)
5- Lightning Racer (Hershey)
6- Fahrenheit (Hershey)
7- The Beast (King's Island)
8- Thunderbolt (Kennywood)
9- Raptor (Cedar Point)
10- Skyrocket (Kennywood)

Yup, because after 5 rides in a row on I-305, those G's really start to kill me, I'll keep riding, but it starts to not be as fun. Whereas for Volcano, it's fun every single time, and the speed boost into and out of the Volcano is so cool to me!

^ Nope.
The only one that comes to mind as a top B&M is Nitro.

^Nitro is a masterpiece, and shows that Six Flags can actually make a great custom coaster once in a while. In my opinion it's the best of the B&M hypers as the airtime is spread out through the whole ride. I agree with you, Nitro is the only fantastic B&M Ive ridden besides Behemoth. The former is SCREAMING for a paint job though

My Elite 8: Cont.
1. Intimidator 305 7. Nitro
2. Kingda Ka 8. Behemoth
3. El Toro
4. Stormrunner
5. Fahrenheit
It's been a long time

Georgia Cyclone. Even more so in the back seat. It's the most intense ride i've ever ridden, with the most insane airtime I've ever felt. Fun floater, neat layout and it's a decently long ride too. I don't think I'll ever get bored of it

1. Goliath (SFGAm)
2. Manta (Sea World Orlando)
3. X-Flight (85% sentimental reasons)
4. Raging Bull
5. Wild Eagle (Dollywood)
6. Thunderhead (Dollywood)
7. Incredible Hulk (IOA)
8. Dragon Challenge (IOA)
9. Viper (SFGAm)
10. Tennessee Tornado (Dollywood)

Honorable mentions: Firechaser Express, American Eagle, Superman Ultimate Flight, Batman the Ride, White Lightning (Fun Spot)

Goliath is just balls to the wall start to finish. Never ridden anything like it before. I would say the dive loop is the best part as it's buried in the wood. If you are 4 rows back, you flip over and dive before you even see it. X-Flight is the first coaster that I watched go up start to finish so I'm a bit biased towards it. Still a good ride though! I do actually like it better than wild eagle. The drop was no more intense than x-flight's wingover and the loop really has no difference in feeling than a sit down would.

Cracking me up that you commented on this and then proceeded to name Batwing as your #4, lol.

Let's say something like... Nitro, Leviathan, Maverick, Behemoth, Banshee, Montu, Kumba, Millennium, TTD, New Texas Giant...and then Outlaw Run stands alone (I haven't ridden El Toro or many other standout wooden coasters, but Outlaw Run is in a league of its own).

My current top 10 list of coasters that I have ridden (I'm sure this list would change if were I to ride coasters such as I-305 or T Express etc.):

#1. El Toro - SFGAdv.
#2. Shambhala - Port Aventura
#3. Nemesis - Alton Towers
#4. Megafobia - Oakwood
#5. Nitro - SFGAdv.
#6. Tatsu - SFMM
#7. Colossos - Heide Park
#8. Full Throttle - SFMM
#9. Kingda Ka - SFGAdv.
#10. X2 - SFMM

Honourable mention: Stealth - Thorpe Park. I just bloody love it and wish it was in my garden.

My recent visit to the US brought my count up to a slightly healthier 133 :D
