Those who post woodies and other coasters with a lot of data/large filesizes, would be doing us poor schmucks on dialup a huge favor if they'd zip their rides up, this really cuts down the filesize, and doens't degrade the quality of the track at all...if ever there was a programmed format that goes well with how zipping works, this is one of them.

I agree, and for woodies please please please use the support optimizer! Theres a better version out now, it reduces filesize and increases framerates!

The support optimizer is a great idea, but there's one flaw in it that bugs me a little: it pokes the 4 x 4's through the handrails. No biggie, but it is an obvious thing and there's no way to correct it. For really big coasters, it's the only way to go, it really does cut down on the filesize and improves the framerate

The latest version (1.3.2) fixes the handrail problem.

just came from Tia's site, v1.3.3 is out now for the construction kit...I have no idea what has been added or improved over v1.3.2 but I got it anyway and installed it

yeah the terraformer really causes problems for my computer, and the suggestion to use the auto-generator was a dud, it kills framerates even worse than doing it manually

hah yeah, if I download a track and try to flatten the terrain it does dittely squat. So I am forced to only ride coasters with flat terrain :(

have you tried the remove data function in either tia's toolbox or the construction kit? you can remove all terrain data in both
