haha, i died a little reading that! lol
They seem to like the number 2, so their marketing would be, two tracks, two ways to ride, and two ways to cry!
remember X2 marketing? it was two, two, two, they said the number two as much as possible! lol

i dont know what to say. ive ridden it since i was very young, 6 seater ptcs and all . i remember the first time i rode , the first time i rode with the morgan trains and the first time after the double drop was erased(i regretted having my hands up as we crashed into the newly added brake) . my theory is that , with a ride like this, six flags goes out of their way to make it suck until the GP has had enough suck and wont take any more. personally id love to see six flags restore it, lovingly... but watching six flags ill bet they either demolish it and put up something new or do somwething wierd to it
.

but don't most woddy's meet the same fate? Ghost Rider, Mean Streak, all the current Wood Coasters that got a makeover? Maybe Wooden coasters have a dark side to their age that's not the parks fault?

YOLO is officially on its deathbed. It has entered Hot Topic and church groups.

I laughed so much reading all these marketing posts. You guys are professional.
In all seriousness, I think they will keep the dual track if they can do something with it, but if it costs way to much money to deal with, or it is planned to just sit there, they might remove it.

I hear there's cranes already on site for Colossus, can someone confirm this for us? Pics perhaps?

Possibly, means they could be ripping off the track and getting ready for steel, or this could be bad and they could be ripping out the whole thing...

Personal opinion time:
Am I the only one who doesn't foam at the mouth when RMC unveils something? I mean, they make some pretty cool stuff, but they kind of cheat the Wooden Records category.

Ban.
They are the only company now making really good and interesting rides, that's why everyone is so Cooco for Cocoa Puffs for them.

The parks more interested in the records then RMC is. Who cares about records? They try to make awesome rides, not break records, at least the conversion RMC's do.

Yea, have definitely noticed RMC doesn't try to break records, SF does.

Yeah, I guess you're right, I'm just not to thrilled they're labeled as Wooden Coasters. Hades 360, now that's a ride.

Yea I agree they should not be labelled as wooden, especially since there is no wood, but you don't hear people complaining anymore that El Toro isn't wooden, because now compared to the RMC's, it is completely wooden :P

The only RMC that could barely classify for me as wooden was Outlaw Run

I agree, Outlaw Run is the only one that gets even close to the label Wooden.
