So this happened... :(

I did get a few minutes before they closed it, there's a TON of more track showing up.

Aww that's unfortunate, but at least you got something rather than nothing.

I couldn't snap any photos. A buddy of mine wants to go Wednesday, so I'll be heading back that day. I'm going to get skype so some of you can Skype me in the park.

Here's a quick Construction Update for you guys. Each week I go, the amount of track that's on site doubles and doubles. They finally put the first few supports up as seen in some of the photos, and it's a lot higher up than i was expecting. They're doing some work on the foundations for the Station building and are forming the plaza and the paths as sort of a rough "sketch" I rode The Voyage to get a better view as to what's going on behind the treeline and they're pouring some massive footers. The way the terrain is shaped and the footers are placed within is sure to be an amazing ride. It was quite rainy today and The Voyage was running beautifully with the track being wet. The lights were on in the tunnel and actually being able to see in the triple down section is always better to me, than in the dark. I'm really excited for this ride. Since Holiday World is my home park, I just have that special connection to it, like nothing else. Feel free to share these photo's as you like, (as long as you credit me. :P ) Enjoy, and I look forward to updating you guys more and more until the big day.

It wouldn't surprise me if they were trying to get the electrical/launch work out of the way before winter sets in.

If the Immelmann is started constructed before Happy Halloween Weekends is over, expect some seriously kick ass shots.

Yeah agreed - means then can perform tests when its cold to maybe work out some of the initial niggles (and generally give them more time to calibrate and test the electrics)

A Rollback would be pretty cool on a Wing Coaster.

I think its possible - those trains aren't hugely aerodynamic (and they stick out beyond the shelter of the track in this case!) and as is typical of wingriders don't exactly fly through the inversions - a significant headwind might potentially cause problems!

I really the color scheme of the trains. Teal is my favorite color so after finally seeing the Trains, it was like icing on the cake.
