Yeah, Six flags parks are really bad at points. One time at SFNE, we were in line for goliath, and we were the VERY FIRST people in line. So what happens? The ride breaks down, the ride op claims it will only be 10 minutes or less.. 25 minutes later, she claims that it will only be another 10 minutes. 10 minutes later she says it just needs to do a group of test runs and it will open, so we wait and watch it go and go. After making it's course about 10 times, she says that it may take up to an hour. Hour passes, she tells us the ride is closed for the day.

I can relate to that. Waterpark expansions, too.

I feel bad for you, but it really isn't worth it as the new premier trains have uncomfortable seats and the fat people statement made me crack up. Flash pass at SFNE doesn't mess up many things, just Thunderbolt which is a terrible ride to begin with. One time at Canobie though there was a fat person trying to get on Untamed and the light behind the seat that gerstlauers have was red and she said she fit.

Flashpass at Zumanjaro is killer, the line looks short at times, but can be over an hour because of Flashpass.
Kinda wish it was an Extra Pay ride for Flash Pass just like Full Throttle and X2 at Magic Mountain are.

Actually 1,700 and it's not crazy hard to hit. You just have to engage the guests as well as the crew. :)

I just wish the exit for Gatekeeper was the front and the back of the station, I think that would speed things up even more.

A lot of the problems people are stating here happen to the majority of theme parks. Kingda Ka is broken down all the time, but so is TTD and pretty much all Accelerator Coasters with an Intamin badge on them.

The only problem I really have with Six Flags is the lines are always reeeeeaaaaaaally long and the loading times are ridiculous. Any Cedar Fair park has much faster loading times, regardless of the line.

^ Agreed, except Kingda Ka loading time is the best I've ever seen out of any Six Flags ride.
They have a good 4 people loading that 1 train only, it's pretty efficient. But Zumanjaro is what causes the capacity to fail on that ride.

^Superman:Ultimate Flight=Superman:Ultimate Wait. Seriously. They have 3 trains on that ride, yet Im certain they just run one so they can create long lines and call it a popular attraction. Bizarro is a much, much better ride in my opinion, and yet even on the Six Flags most popular rides list it isn't even mentioned.

As for your second point, Kingda Ka does load pretty fast, but it attracts so many people from around the world because of its records that the line is long regardless of time of day or when you go. New Jersey is the nanny state so although the rides were designed to be synchronized (Kingda Ka going up the Top Hat with Zumanjaro) the state veto'd it at the last minute so both rides take a HUGE blow to capacity-especially Kingda Ka.

Superman - Ultimate Flight does not have three trains. How would you think that's even physically possible?

Fat-checking at entrance is critical.

^I've seen test seats at Six Flags parks though? I don't see why the fatties would get in line at six flags parks and avoid at cedar fair parks

Yea Superman: Ultimate Flight at Great Adventure only has 2 trains and only once this season have I seen them only run 1 train. Our park doesn't get cheap with trains, we use all of them most of the time. Hell, even Bizarro runs 3 trains every day and it barely has a line at all.

Just an FYI at CP today Mantis, Iron Dragon, MF, and others lost power today. Power problems are a local infrastructure problem, not Six Flags or any park's fault.

2 things.
1. I like six flags parks, they just need to get a new system going. There are so many problems with the parks themselves that they just don't know how to handle situations well, especially when they hire staff members that barely have a clue what they are doing.

2. Were you joking when you said at some six flags parks you get kicked off the ride for pulling your restraint down early? Even if you had to wait in such a long line?

Was using the single rider system at SFMM this week, and I got so many angry looks! Some people even spoke up! People are so rude when they been force to wait! It was funny for me though, I just walked onto Lex Luther Drop of Doom lol.
Hey TTD03, does Zumanjaro have a single rider system?

Yes, Zumanjaro has a single rider system, depending on the line, it gets abused, but usually, I'm lucky to cut down my 30 minute wait to 10 minutes with the single rider line.

haha yeah it happens! At first no one noticed there was a single rider line, but once I used it(I left then came back an hour later) it was being abused lol.

Lol, it sucks because the single rider line should really be for people that are single, not groups that think it will be faster, which then make everyone else who is actually single, wait forever.
