Looks decent, liking the turnaround. Wonder why they appear to be using first gen trains though?

Maybe cause they generally liked them more than the 2nd gen trains? I know I like Nitro's trains more than Diamondback's.

I'm thinking it might be a weight issue, but I could be wrong.

no MCBR makes me think the lines on this will be huge. why does B&M waste space by puting the end break run 100 feet in the air. why not one more bunny hill.

^ The extra length of brake run serves as an MCBR. The ride treats the first flat portion of the brakes as an MCBR and then the down slope after it works as the second half of the ride. In the end it works out so that the coaster can run 3 trains even without a traditional MCBR or a dual load station. Running three 32 passenger trains should make this a capacity beast. Of course I don't think that B&M has ever built a ride that wasn't a major capacity powerhouse, even the dive machines can burn through a line faster than most of Intamin's rides.

The element I've been waiting for my whole life, the Horseshoe Turn 157 Feet With A 91 Degree High Banked Curve And Weightless Drop.

Also, take a closer look. Nice "double helix".............

First airtime hill on the whole ride is 111 ft. Let's ponder that.

SMH. I'm disappointed.

^ In fairness we knew what the general layout was going to be beforehand. It doesn't need a lot of air time hills because Intimidator is right across the park. which is probably also the reason for the 4-across trains rather than the stadium trains
What are these for?

I like that there isn't a MBR, but I worry about the lift. The POV was 1' 40" but skipped the lift hill, the ride is 3' 20". So is ~49% of the ride time the lift?

This may sound noobish, but on B&M giga coasters in particular, how does the chain return to the bottom? It's visible on B&M Hypers though.

They have much wider spines. The chain is contained inside of it so there's no need for the return beam that the hypers have.

Saw this in the morning and been letting the info sink in. Here are my thoughts
-Glad its not hill after hill, its good its not another Intimidator.
-That POV does not do the coaster justice! It looks way too slow, I'm sure when it opens it will seem a lot faster.
- I thought the drop would be steeper because its taller.
-How do B&M's chains work? Doesn't steel dragon 2000 need 2 chains because one chain would be too heavy? What's they lift speed?
-The helix looks boring, hopefully in real life it will be more forceful then it appears.
-Like the track color, but don't like the support colors.
-Would this coaster be comparable to I305? because their both giga coasters that are more low ground tuns, than airtime machines?
-Location of the coaster is great (entrance passes) but its too close to Intimidator, kinda wish it was across the park.

Also the end brakes are 100ft in the air so the brakes don't have to work so hard to slow the coaster down, not too much wear and tear. If it was low to the ground, the brakes would have more maintenance.

The overbanks being "low to the ground" is really just relative, if you look at the layout sheet element eight is still over 100 ft tall and I'd assume the others are shorter but still on the larger side of 50 ft above the ground. The fact that the airtime hill over halfway through the ride is taller than Maverick or a Batman clone is really telling of how utterly massive this thing is.

^^ Steel dragon was built 14 years ago, lift chain motors have gotten a lot stronger and more powerful since then, it's because of this you don't usually see B&M's with pre drops any more. As for everything else, I kind of agree.

If I remember correctly, Leviathan took 1:16 to get to the top, but I was at Canada's Wonderland on Tuesday and it looks like they sped it up it takes about 30 seconds to a minute to make it up. I do agree the layout is okay, but nothing spectacular, but also keep in mind B&M Gigas are in the prototype stage in my mind.

Also the storage is before the lift -10 realism points and too twisty for B&M -10 Technical.

Yea it seems B&M came out of their comfort zone and went more twisty, but the layout looks too slow in parts, and I feel the first or second thing after the drop should have been an airtime hill rather than a turn. I think it will be good, but any Intamin Giga will remain better :P aka MF.

Just something small I noticed lately; the screaming sound effects on this year's animations, including both Thunderbird and Fury 325 are different? Kinda makes me wonder if it's by 3DVIP. Other than that the renderings are fantastic and some of the screenshots are actually pretty lifelike

It seems like recently B&M has decided to start stepping it up.

Say what you want TTD03 but B&M will have the tallest lift hill in the world. Millennium Farce can suck it.

Overall Intamin just excites me more, the level of interest is much more with Intamin. This coaster is much more a protoype for B&M than I305 or Skyrush was for Intamin. Looks like B&M is still trying to play it safe.

I never have any sort of fear when I step on a B&M Coaster, but when it comes time to step into an Intamin one, I'm very much reluctant to do so. I won't go anywhere near an Intamin drop tower. I had hope for Falcon's Fury and I thought it might be the one tower to get me back to riding them, but after the cable replacement before it even opened, sent me back to the start. I know the odds are miniscule, but if the companies reputation speaks for them, I'm way way way less likely to be injured on a B&M. :P
