Even though its only animation, I wasn't sure If they would be be bird themed like Wild Eagle or Parrot coaster, before the announcement. The reveal was awesome for me.

Good news! I will be attending The Fall Freakout at Holiday World hosted by GOCC on September 20th. This includes a Photo Walk Back Tour of The Voyage and Construction Tour of Thunderbird! I'm so excited, so prepare yourselves for some really, really, in depth construction updates that I will be posting exclusively for CoasterCrazy. I will be also filming and editing an Off-ride of The Voyage for the CC YouTube channel. Any requests, PLEASE, leave them below and I will make sure to get them accomplished.

Awesome news Rick, my only request is that you get some detailed pics of the launch system. If at all possible (which I completely understand it won't be), please get some side-on and top-down pics of the launch mechanisms in generic lighting (not too much shadow or bright parts) for possible use as textures.

Awesome, congratulations! I would like details on the company who's making the launch, and whether the park contracted them or B&M did.

^I believe its made by Intrasys, who makes magnetic components for a lot of companies (excluding Intamin, who makes their own parts most of the time). I heard that B&M themselves contacted them. Some of their parts can be found on Superman: Ultimiate Flight @ SFDK, Verbolten, Manta, and Full Throttle, according to their website. Though, if they made the magnetic parts for manta, I imagine they have made them for a lot of other B&M's as well.

EDIT: Also add Superman Escape From Kyrpton to the list
It's been a long time

Could it because you are in PA and corn fields are all you see around you :P?

^ I live in a college town, the corn fields are a couple miles away. On that note though there is a school district near me that has a drive your tractor to school day.

Thanks for the info! Much appreciated. I didn't realize how significant a role Intrasys had played in realizing these recent Mack/Premier coasters. Also I believe they're referring to the Sea World San Diego's Manta (I think of the B&M flyer first too).

Hey - Pennsylvania is only about 80% corn field - you're thinking of Iowa

I'm sorry to say but I won't be attending the GOCC event, I'm dealing with a lot of personal struggles right now and I will continue to update Thunderbird's progress. Sorry for the disappointing news, I'm just having such a rough time.

I'm sorry guys. I really regret making the choice to cancel. I just have some personal issues I have to get worked out right now. I will absolutely 100% be hitting up Holiwood Nights Next Year to get that off ride of the voyage. I hate to let you guys down.
