Anybody know of ways to make a computer faster?? I want to be able to run SM on my system with faster gameplay. Something not too expensive, or if its free, thats great[approve]

O yea, I've tried taking programs off that I don't need a miliion times. Also, if I sound stupid, PM me[sillyme]

Hey im not exactly sure what you are getting at? are you looking to upgrade your pc? what do you have right now?

Well how much ram do you have, What speed processor are you running, what kind of video card do you have? Maybe w/ that info someone can toss you some Ideas.

You can always purchase more RAM. It is the most inexpensive (but it still can be costly, depending on how much you want) way to add speed and memory without buying a new PC altogether.

I wish you luck! The cheapest is what elfman said but that can run you $100-$300. If you upgrade your processor (ex. Pentium II to Pentium IV), that'll cost you about $200 and then a new mother board that'll run you another $200! I did both and the $400 one is the best! I went from a 266 MHz to a 1.05 GHz (about 1050 MHz) for about $600 ($350 for Processor and $250 for Mother board)

one of the main problems w/ upgrading your processocor is that you will almost have to replace your motherboard. Ram is a really good way to go and the way ram cost these days shouldn't be all that bad.
