I get my braces off in a week[:D]Insert. I have had them on for 2 years and I can't wait for them to come off. The date is 09/16/03 and then a week with nothing! Then I get a retainer for a while[V]

be prepared for a lot of slobbers! When I had mine for the first week or so, all I did when talking was slobber and spit when I talk. Yes, it will get annoying but you'll get used to it

Like wwws said you HAVE to wear those retainers. The biggest mistake you can make is thinking that you will be alright w/o them, especially if you are under 18 b/c your teeth are still moving. I know it can be a hassle but keep them on, at least you will only have to wear them at night after a while. I didn't wear mine like I was supposed to and that was a big mistake (didn't mess them up that bad but you know the difference and as you get older you will regret it).

I'm getting mine of with in the next 5 months (at least) i'v only had them on for about 1 1/2 years, but whats funny is whene ever I get them tightend, it makes a gap in my two front teeth, but then it closes.
