Keep in mind the drive tires aren't present in the video either.

The trims currently go off based on the weight and speed of the train. Fill up with tubbys like me and the trim will kick in. Fill it in with lightweights like ck and the trim will never go off. I hope they add more soft padding to the harnesses though, the corks remain the same and thus you'll get some nice head banging xD

Colours are certainly a surprise, I thought they were going with the white and green.

^Id like to see that too, but RMC has REALLY got their hands full at the moment with WC, TC, and Wildfire. Not to mention the fire on TC setting them behind schedule.

That's irrelevant. Those projects wouldn't affect RMC's timeline for 2016, or 17, or 18, ect. ;)

The other issue with stand ups, after being at a park all day on your feet, waiting in line for Mantis for awhile, the idea of standing on my your feet and holding yourself up over 3 times your body weight seems like a daunting task.

Well Wildfire is for 2016 :D. Also, I thought he meant for next year. It is certainly possible in the years you listed

How to create a Rougarou recreation in under 30 seconds:

1. Find a Mantis NL recreation

2. Save As: Rougarou

3. Change Colors and Change type to Floorless

4. Save again

5. Ride

6. ????

Am I the only one who's like "its just new trains guys". I mean yeah it'll be interesting when the ride is open, but I don't think Mantis really needed it. It was fine the way it was, I liked it! but then again i enjoy stand-ups, and I guess others don't find them so comfortable. Which I still find weird because I can think of a dozen more popular and loved rides that are more painful. :)
P.S. No flamethrowers? lol

-its just new trains lol, I was expecting something a little more exciting! A whole new theme? Area/section theme of park, cool scenery?/

Why they do this?
I was hopeful of riding Mantis at some point in my life, especially after enjoying Riddler's Revenge so much. But now...?

I recall Mantis just making my legs hurt upon riding. It wasn't a rough kind of hurt, but all the force on the legs was very uncomfortable. I think the floorless trains will be much more fun to ride.

America cannot handle the concept properly, and quite honestly that ride has terrible rider per hour numbers for its size and the simple face that it is a frigging 145ft B&M. Really it's kind of what the enthusiasts want. Everyone whines about the new B&M's being weak, so now we're getting a floorless with an "old school" intense layout.

Can't wait. Hoping to take a trip up the east coast and stop at all the parks that I can. If I could actually get the money to fund for this expensive trip in the planning.

I would if I could. Unfortunately, I'm about 19 hours away driving from my house to the park

Just wondering but if one B&M Inverted at Kings Island wasn't named Banshee, Mantis would get that name, not Rougarou this time, because I know the name "Banshee" was banned, looking back to the year 1996.

^It wasn't necessarily banned, rather, the public just didn't like the name at the time and CP came under fire for that. So they changed it to Mantis. And of course, Steel Force got the original Banshee logo

From MF there seems to be a lot of work behind Mantis as well. Not just around the Mantis site but further in between. I also saw they moved the T-Rex family around a bit. Since the Banshee name didn't work out, I wonder if revisiting the monster theme might be a new tie-in to that area. There is still more announcement for 2015 from Cedar Point

I Wouldn't even take a last ride on it. Not a fan of stand-ups. The experience isn't better or scarier imo. Just more hurtful. Everyone sits on the seats they have under them anyway.... Good move.

I took one last ride on it this past weekend, I was going to ride it once during the day and once at night. But after riding it first in the Front Row during the day and actually enjoying the ride, I decided to leave it at that and say that was my final ride.
