Possibly Kennywood? That should be a must! :D

Best time to go, if you don't already have your dates planned, is mid-week in late June or July. The largest crowds are at the beginning of summer when school is out (there are many school picnic days, so check their calendar to see when they are to avoid them) and at the end right before school is back in. Being so close to Pittsburgh, the park is widely visited by the surrounding school districts.

When you're in the park, arrive early and head to the back of the park first, and work your way to the entrance. Many people don't go for the rides in the far back first (which happen to be the best). Snag a ride on Exterminator and Black Widow first, those lines build quickly. The Phantom's Revenge doesn't usually exceed an hour unless it's a busy day. The 3 water rides are less busy early on and later in the day, but close after dark. And check if there's a light show the night you're going, because the Jack Rabbit and Racer close early on those days. Make sure you get a ride on Skyrocket before you go, it may not seem like much but that little ride is the smoothest coaster I've ever been on!

MOST IMPORTANTLY: DO NOT FORGET THE POTATO PATCH FRIES!

And of course, don't forget to brush up on your Pittsburghese or no one will know what you're talking about :lol:
sandwich = "sammich"
did you eat yet? = "Jeet-Jet?"
soda = "pop"
gyro= "jy-ro"
you all = "yinz"
etc. etc.

Hope this helps! I've been going to Kennywood 2-3 times a year since I was about 5 so I can help you out if you have any other questions :D

Head to Bizarro first as it gets the most crowded. Then you can head over to Batman and ride Arkham Asylum if you want. Do not ride Mind Eraser consider this your warning. After Batman head on over to Goliath if it hasn't broken down and get that done. You can go to Crackaxle canyon if you want but there is not much there just a mini Frisbee and one of those dark rides where the room spins. After that you can head down to Wicked Cyclone and the Sky Screamer and you can do Pandemonium also if you please. That is pretty much it. Small park.

Lake Compounce:

Just go to Boulder Dash and ride that all day. Nuff said. For food eat at the new hot dog place near Wildcat, it is amazing.

That's like finding a Waffle House with no white trash in it.

Get there early, at park opening there is barely any lines depending on what day you go. Head to the rides with long lines first, like Superman, El Toro, and if you want, Kingda Ka. Batman will not have a REALLY long line unless they decide to announce backwards batman later on. Nitro almost never has a long line. The longest I've ever waited on a weekday was 45 minutes, and the shortest was literally nothing (I went really early in the season). Weekends might be longer, I've only went there on a weekend twice, and the longest I waited for it was 1 hour 30 mins. Bizarro never has that long of a line so ride it whenever you want. GL is another ride you want to ride early, as the lines increase with time. For Kingda Ka, If you want a day ride get in line early to get many re-rides. My best experience is with night rides, and there is a way to get on at night without waiting forever like everyone else does. Check the line- if it's long, then go at around 6-7 depending on how long. By the time you get to the front, it should be dark. Have fun!

Also, the lines should be slightly shorter due to Looping Dragon next year. Regardless of how much the GP criticizes it, they will get in line to ride at least once
It's been a long time

Would it be cheaper to get a season pass for six flags because I'll be going to 4 six flags parks next summer and might do multiple visits to six flags over Georgia

^ YES. Six Flags passes are incredibly cheap, they are actually about the price of a 1 day non discounted ticket to Great Adventure right now. So if you are going to Six Flags parks at least 4 times, definitely worth it. Just remember to purchase the pass at the park where you know you can get to first to process it, because the pass doesn't work at any other Six Flags park until it has been processed at the park it was purchased at.
So end story, definitely worth it to get the pass.

You never get re-rides for Ka anymore, cause ZumanFailo makes the line an hour within 10 minutes. And also cause both rides never open on time for park opening.

Carowinds:

I'm going to make this short. Carowinds used to be my home park so I know a lot about it as I used to go all the time. If you are planning on getting to the park early go on Nighthawk as the line gets quite long throughout the day. Or wait just before closing. Intimidator's line is usually long no matter the time of day however it moves very fast. Vortex's line is also long depending on the time of day so knock that coaster off your list early or later in the day. Carolina Cobras line is always long and takes 45 minutes+ to go through. I think the shortest I ever got through that line was about 35 minutes and the longest was about a hour and a half. Personally I don't think the ride is worth it. Pretty much every other ride isn't too bad of a wait normally 30 minutes or less depending on the crowd. Also NEVER leave items unattended and always keep things close to you. I have gotten items stolen off of me before and I got my phone stolen while I was charging it. That was the only bad experience I had at Carowinds. Overall it is an amazing park with very thrilling rides. I would recommend going in the fall for Scarowinds which is amazing plus it's not too hot.
Hope this helps a little.

In order:
4-5 hours depending on your route and traffic (PA 76 is quickest, but its a turnpike so there's a toll)

Yes, Kennywood and Lake Compounce are sister parks!

Soda refills are $1.07 (that's including tax) and I believe the refill cup is around $7-$8, but it's worth it

I have no idea. You'd have to ask someone like Oscar about that, he might know.

Anywhere from a walk-on to and hour and a half, depending on weather and crowds

Are you planning on visiting any of the water parks or just the dry parks. I know for Dorney, the dry side never gets crazy lines but the water park is a whole different story. If you do decide to do Dorney's water park i would recommend doing it first thing when it opens, and hit everything before the crowds get bad around 12. Also, are you planning in getting Cedar Fair Platinum Passes? I'm not sure if it would be completely worth it with price since you are only going to three parks, but keep in mind if you get a pass, you would get Early Entry at CF parks.

I think you should hit up Canobie as well. I love the whole atmosphere of that park.

I don't know much about SFOG, but I know that hitting Dare Devil Dive, then Goliath, and thehn going around to the back of the park towards Superman and Ninja was the best thing for no lines, at least for me.
