Stealth: The worlds first flyer....takin a fall

This message is sad news to us Californians but great news to those who visit Paramount's Carowinds...Stealth,Worlds first (vekoma) flyer, is being removed from P. Great America for a new water park but will be relocated @ PC. Wasnt sure if any of you were aware of this but it's [dismantling] happening right now as I type...

As long as they haven't removed it for good then I'm happy. I couldn't wait to ride it in a year[V].

Relocation is a heck of a lot better than taking the dirt nap... I just hope the moved coaster still holds up the intensity. (Twister II was a pretty bad relocated coaster compared to the original Twister at Elitch Gardens.) Still, I gues it's a heck of a lot easier to move a steel coaster and keep it the same. (Just look at Thriller, Taz's Texas Tornado, and Zonga.)

Damn, oh well, I can't wait to ride the other ones though (I hope they don't move them to[lol])

Well, this season, they removed Greased Lightnin AKA Tidal Wave...but that's a completely different story and topic

Gee, you Californians sure do chew up new coasters and spit them out fast! Stealth has barely been around long enough to establish itself and now they're already shipping it off to another park? Not that I don't understand why they wanna get rid of a slow loading coaster with alot of downtime, but God, it's never even been repainted yet!
