I was so sad... I couldn't bring myself to write anything on this board. :( The photo of Donnie's headstone, it made me think that I had to post more, to say thanks for his memorable activities on CC!

Beth and Emily, sister and niece respectively of bockzilla asked me to post the following:

From bockzilla's sister and niece We want to thank you for all the kind words. It has touch us so much that donnie aka bockzilla had so many fans and friends. He is deeply missed especially by his niece the next generation of coaster crazy fan in our family. He took her since she was 2 to amusement parks. She would ride anything the only that stopped her was her height. He first big coaster was the racers at Kings island and she road the millennium at age 5 1/2 so he does live on with each ride any of coaster crazy fans ride. So please ride ride and enjoy in memory of bockzilla

May you be in the presence the Almighty God Bockzilla and ride the heavenly coasters for all eternity. I still have all your rides in NL1 on my external drive. May peace and comfort be with your family :D

Oh wow. This pretty much sucks to hear. He was an awesome guy and we had tons of fun back in 2010 in Great America. I knew he did a lot for the website, but actually funding it in such way that it remained alive. Just wow...

Here are some pictures from the meet-up we had with Bockzilla in 2010:

^ Great pictures, thanks for sharing.

As a side note, I am working on making a NL2 version of all of bockzilla's coasters.

I currently have 18 coasters in one park, but that is proving to be horrible frame rates unless all settings are minimum, so that might have to be the way to go. Or perhaps put less coasters in the park.

Hey Oscar, if Bockzilla's niece does not have access to No Limits, let them know that I will pay the license fee for her to download it and then she can ride all of her uncles great rides. Just let me know how to make it happen. Thanks man.

She has replied with the following:

That would be wonderful for Emily to have access and see and ride. Her uncles rides. Please tell symbiotic that. Is. So kind and sweet she would. Be honored

I think I'm gonna dedicate my newest woody to Bock. Bockzilla has always been and will be my greatest inspiration when it comes to Wooden coasters. The stuff he designed will last a lifetime. To his family, Bockzilla inspired me to try new things and innovate when it comes to coasters, it really means a lot to have talked to him on the occasion. He will not be forgotten.

Nice words everyone, and that was very nice of you Symbiotic, thanks for that.

I need a few testers for the Bockzilla park I am putting together. I need people with really powerful and really weak computers. PM me or post here if interested.

Thanks!
