I would love to see them too. I love alpengeist's surroundings and how close it gets to the log flume

Don't worry guys, I plan to do all the landmark years! Once I get just a bit more done on these three I'll be starting work on Alpengeist and Wild Maus for the 1997 version of the park up next. I want to get these three very solid first, because it will obviously be much easier to duplicate this park and add the new rides in. It'll also give Bouncypip a chance to work at his own pace on the 3ds if I'm working on the next two coasters in their own files and then just import them as I did before.

Here's a preview of what years I plan to do next down the line in order!

1997 - Add Wild Maus, Alpengeist, and modify Drachen Fire to take out the first corkscrew and add a brake run in it's place.

1999 - Add Apollo's Chariot, change Drachen Fire to SBNO

2007 - Add Griffon, remove Wild Maus and Drachen Fire

2012 - Remove Wolf, add Verbolten, add Grover's Alpine Express

2015 - Add the new mystery coaster, hopefully remove nothing! Busch needs to stop removing coasters!

Yea, my 3ds pace will probably quite slow for the moment :P I'm quite busy atm and only getting around 2 hours every couple of days or so to spend on it. Should be done with the main part of the station soon, I'm not going to rush it though. I want to make sure that it is done right :)

I agree on the 3ds! That's why I'm trying to pace things the way I am, so that you don't feel rushed. Everything looks great so far, but I've been watching your own park spring up, and I certainly would want to be working on that too if I were you!

Also, I'm doing those years first since I bet that's where the most interest is, but I might do a 1978 and 1984 version of the park too, and include Das Katzchen, Die Wildkatze, and Glissade.

Also, I'd be shocked to see any coasters removed from Busch, as the only thing that would make sense to remove is Loch Ness, and considering most agree that's one of the best, smoothest Arrow's in the world, I'd be VERY shocked and disappointed to see it go. I mostly said that in jest! Then again, I was VERY shocked to hear the news when wolf was getting the ax, as that was one of the best arrow suspended coasters in the world. There had been rumors for years of Wolf taking a year off to get overhauled and upgraded for longevity, but considering the timing of Wolf closing and the park selling, I think the new company had no interest in those upgrades and decided to tear it down instead :/ Verbolten is a cool ride, but I would have preferred it on the Drachen Fire site and kept the Wolf alive! I was also perturbed that the excuse they gave the public for Wolf closing is that Arrow recommended a 25 year shelf life on their coasters. Yeah, that's a pretty lame reason in and of itself, especially considering the almost 40 year old Arrow sitting there in the same park

Raided the open source 3Ds archives to grab a few of the more common models needed, and did some landscaping around Drachen Fire today!

Maybe someday. There's still a ton left to do on this project, but I think those trains are high on a lot of people's wishlist. I'm a little bummed they aren't in the stock game. A lot of people were asking for them for years! Oh well, I guess they wanted more focus on other things.

I was going to tell you to not have all of the lift supports funnel into one footer. Then I looked up pictures online and saw the concrete horizontal cylinder thing they used and well.......that's interesting lol. Area as a whole looks fantastic so far, keep up the good work.

Chugged along on some wolf supports. They aren't done, but they're more done! I also did some more landscaping around Wolf and Drachen, and added a few stock 3ds to the wolf village as placeholders. They are NOT what will be in the final product, but I sorta wanted something there for my own sake in the mean time to help gauge a few things!

Also, now that my Drachen Fire lines up fairly perfectly with the POV video, and based on my own experiences/photos of the ride, I feel pretty confident in the shape of the track! That said, just for fun, here's the G forces on some of the rougher parts of the ride. Obviously there's no way to know for sure, but damn do those Gs ever spike in the trouble spots. Just as my memory recalls, the worst part of the ride was the turn going up to the brake run.

Really cool stuff! The coaster and the landscape looking great!

Thanks! I haven't found the right pavement texture yet, so I'm using rock as a placeholder.

Worst part of Shockwave at SFGAm was definitely the MCBR transition. Jesus christ was that violent. I think GASM had the loop go in the other direction so that it had extra room to be less violent.

I can understand where you're coming from, but I didn't take it as an insult! Actually Pip is working on this project with me on the side!
