I really have to take issue with the last two rates on my coaster. I don't see how you can complain about the banking. This ride is modeled after the Prior and Church (and Traver) "Bobs" style coasters of the late '20s. 70+ degree bankins were practically these rides calling cards. See http://members.aol.com/y2coasters/aeroplane.html for the ride that was my most distinct inspiration. At no point are there g-forces to the inside of the turn. I really don't see how I can be penalized for utilizing proper engineering. The heavily banked turn is so much a trademark of this style of ride, marking down for it (And as explained above, I so no reason for it) is as insane as marking down an Arrow Looper for having a corkscrew. (I can think of a grand total of 3 of the ~75 looping arrows without one). As for the supports, I'll agree that could use improvement, but I have a rather low end machine (Sub-ghz athlon) and editing supports on a wooden coaster is just two slow to be practical. I'd like both of these ratings to be removed for the reasons above, and because they both seem to totally ignore the ride itself, which, was commented on, otherwise unanimously, as being quite kick-arse.

The Aeroplane coasters did have high banking, yes, but it wasn't as high banking as your coaster had. Also, if the real Aeroplane coasters didn't have high lats, it doesn't mean I shouldn't mark you down for not having high lats if it wasn't as exciting as it could be with more powerful lats. What makes woodies exciting is the lats and airtime. I also took off points because of the roughness. It was VERY VERY rough and had a lot of pumping, so i marked down for that also. The support issues were another reason i took off, because since you classified it as realistic, and it had the supports going through catwalks or catwalks going into the rails of a track, then I have to take off points for that not being realistic at all.

for the record bankings on those coasters were max 60-65 degs as judged from a coaster expert from that era, will be locking this topic to prevent an argument that may rise from replies coming in.

due to the inconsistency found in statistics across the many websites, we still have not resolved this. Still an open case.

ok we've solved this, one of the ratings is fine as is, the other wasn't, we disagreed in one aspect of the rating, we each voted what it should be, took all the votes, added them and averaged them out and rounded up to give you the displacement rate. Rate has now been added.
case closed.
