Poor Gerstlauer. I love your awkwardly shaped top hats. :D

I don't like the awkward shape on Macks, or Gerstlauer. Hands down good manufacturers but shaping doesn't look nice!
oh and reset!

^ Yea, sorry about that, Everyone will need to vote again, not sure why, think it might have been cause I added RMC or changed some other setting.

Since it was brought up, why do you like TTD so much, and how on earth did you get so many rides on it? o.o I've been to CP 21 times this year and have maybe 50 rides total if that since it opened XD do you just only ride TTD when you go?

Even though the shaping might seem weird, I love it so much and they seem really intense as well. Mack's shaping is gorgeous and very fluid, especially their heartline rolls.

Change Topic: The only thing that TOGO did right in my opinion was the ultratwister. Everything else was just terrible.

Lol I mean 252.5 rides over 8 years and 22 trips to CP.

We always get Fast Lane for 1 day when we go, so that helps.

My top records for the day are 17 TTD and 27 MF in 2 hours!

The shaping is weird looking compared to others, like Intamin.

^^That's still insane

Also, an example of weird shaping is I-305's first turn after it got reprofiled. It was so much more fluid and pretty before.
It's obviously modified for force-based reasons, but I'm just talking looks.

Just look how flowy it is... im drooling over this transition :D

Now it looks more like an upwards spiral. It just looks so weird, especially with a train going through it
It's been a long time

I personally love most of gerstlauer's shaping

Most of their corkscrews/barrel rolls/heartline/zero g rolls look awesome

Then again, I think this speaks for itself..

Ive never been on an RMC. But the factor of them taking really old wooden coasters and turning them into steel beasts is pretty outstanding. Especially with the new rides that have been made recently.. Goliath, Medusa, Etc.

Goliath is incredible. It's totally a steel coaster masquerading as a wooden coaster but it's still amazing. (It's wheels never touch wood. All three sets ride on the topper track)

I've heard Goliath is a weak RMC.

^Correct. RMC are definitely the ones to watch, I've been on Outlaw Run and NTAG and both are stellar. I find Outlaw Run preferable for its setting, unique elements like the wave turn/oustide banked turn and superior trains (actually designed by RMC as opposed to Gerstlauer).

Even still my heart belongs to B&M, their impact on the landscape of roller coasters cannot be overstated, especially with the development of inverts and bettering of looping coasters in general. The same could be said for Intamin with their pioneering of hydraulic launches and general pushing of the height/speed envelope. Also where is Anton? I have never been on a Schwarzkopf coaster I didn't enjoy, and considering most are in their 30s or 40s, that's truly impressive. Without the contributions of the likes of Anton Schwarzkopf and Ron Toomer steel coasters wouldn't be what they are today.

How I decide how cool a coaster looks is based by my NL experience. When I see B&M and Intamin in real life, I'm just so jealous on how perfect their transitions LOOK(I can never get it to look so good).
When I see gerstlauer's shaping, I think if my coaster I was designing had some of their transitions, I would not be happy how it came out.
B&M's and Intamin's transitions are just breathtaking (i feel like I can watch forever ) Don't feel the same for other manufactures like Mack.

and every RMC is awesome! just like every GIGA is awsome! Some just could be alot better.

Well whatever they tried to fix, they failed,

I still blackout as much as I did on April 9, 2010.

The only thing the turn did was kill some of the airtime on the 2nd hill.
