I quite like how it's turning our and I can attest to the depumpers circular tendencies. That being said I think you are coping well and the ride looks promising to say the least. I can't wait to see where you go from here and ps I agree with you about the MCBR better short and sweet than too long and boring. Nice work.

So the previous layout with the overbank followed by an inclined loop has been scrapped. I ended up trapping myself in a corner so that I would have no room for a lift motor and the chain in the future, which is something I wanted to avoid.

Updates:
-Both dive loops were tweaked again
-Added twisty dive thing that Apocalypse/Georgia Scorcher have
-Added inclined loop

Image

The turn thing I added after the dive loop sets up the inclined loop well and allows me to do that awkward track swing out at the entrance, and I'm very happy with the layout so far. Lateral G's on the outside back seats on the new turn are -0.5 and 0.4, which I think is acceptable considering that it doesn't crawl over the element. The bottom of the turn briefly holds 3.7G's, but the top is around 1.2-1.4ish, so I think that's acceptable. I have a G killing flat section before the turn anyways and before the inclined loop.

I will add the MCBR next (no exceptions) so that it's not so unrealistically long before it and then a nice mess post-MCBR. Here are two pictures of progress so far. The lift will have a chain, I just switched the ride to shuttle mode so I can launch it to the almost top and then drive wheel it over at the speed the lift would be at to save myself time during testing. I also really need different colors.

Drop looks way better now. Only thing I question about that section is the fluidity of the entrance to the predrop turn.

Do your dive loops have tilt like every B&M before the new-gen ones? Looks like they could use some.

Layout looks solid but it's hard to tell from side views. Seems to be coming along.

No tilt on the dive loops. I think they're fine as-is. I don't remember a tilt on the one I worked anyways.

Here is a choppy low quality video of the first drop only from the back right seat. My computer is not powerful enough to export a good video, so sorry about its low FPS. I tried to show the G's (they're mostly non-existent) but it wouldn't let me record them.

Nice, like the look of the layout - drop looks fun! Have you got a theme in mind that you might be able to draw colour inspiration from?

Thanks guys! I'm working on finishing the ride up. I've added a MCBR after the inclined loop and I need to creatively add two corkcrews and then finish the bastard's track layout.

Mkingy - I never consider themes lol it's a problem

how about a tight interlock? I've always wanted to see that on a stand up coaster.

Track layout is finished! Final stats are:
Max Height: 169ft
Drop: 153ft
Max Speed: 67mph
Inversions: 6 (vertical loop, dive loop (2), inclined loop, corkscrew (2)
Length: 4981ft
G's: +4.3, -0.1

I finally am satisfied with the ending. It required a bit of digging (I hope Riddler style concrete trenches are easy), but overall I think it managed to make a nice "trying to kill you" style ending that feels fast without scumming to the "have your station 5ft off the ground" trick to get it to pass Estop. I'd add a helix or something but it's already barely making it as is, also the tracklength seems realistic.

Obviously I haven't figured out the terrain yet, so that and supports are the next mission. I'm going to try and make a nice storage area for the trains and a lift motor. It would be great if I could get where the stairs cross under the lift track as well so that an employee can access the other side. Different colors will arrive soon in the next update...promise.

Embedded pics are of various little fixes I made in addition to the ending of the ride, and this pic taken from block brake of the ending.
Image

The predrop dippy thing is much better than it was originally, mostly because it's the first non-piece of straight track I ever made in NL2.
Image

I managed to sneak in the little kickout thing at the entrance to the inclined loop, which is after one of those straightish G killing sections.
Image

And finally two side profiles of the ride poorly smashed together into a final image. Thanks for your time, and again I'll change the colors I swear!

X Clap, Clap, Clap X

Easily the best looking stand up I've ever seen in NL.

Great job!

Thank you I try. Hopefully it'll stay that way when I'm done with supports.

^Seriously? I think it look awesomely fun. Classic B&M standup pre mcbr run, and a very mantis/green lantern/riddler style post mcbr run with LOTS of curves. I don't see how it could be too twisty.

I have fond pre-pubescent memories of Riddler's Revenge, and despite the colors this layout is probably most similar to that of all existing stand-ups...but let's be honest, I sincerely doubt as an adult male I'd much enjoy a stand-up experience even if B&M built a shiny new one. Still, this is a pretty cool amalgam of elements and I like how Manteesha has shaped up.

Also, Coasterkidmwm, you need to submit your draft picks.

So I was a jerk and totally redid the ending. Reason for this is that I couldn't fit an intelligent looking transfer track/storage shed into the older design, and the brakes were kind of silly. It's also not great to roll into the final brakes after Estop at 4mph. So here is the new final ending layout I will not touch. I really wanted to have the whippy helix thing, so I managed to add that and incorporate it into the quick turn that one of the Vortex's and Chang does before the final corkscrew. I like this ending better than the previous one, and it is also noticably lacking in"drag ass for a couple of turns to get to the final brakes"-style issue. I'm much happier with this ending. I won't change the track again I pwomise.
Image

For those looking at that helix, it gradually adds on the G's peaking at 3.0 and then dumps you into the corkscrew. The thicker track spine I'm using on it (what the sim calls medium) makes it look smaller than it is.

Image
Yes that transition exists in real life, and both Mantis and Georgia Scorcher feature it.

Thinking some dark charcoal grey or silver supports will look excellent in the future. Supporting starts today!

First drop through inclined loop supports are done. I'll be trying new color schemes as future updates progress. And yes the wrong looking support is occasionally used by B&M.
